Art is pain. 7 hours on my back painting the earth and a space station on the ceiling. Last week I completed the trim around the floor and the door. Another 5 months or so until the room is finished. 10 characters and and 5 ships I haven't even started on yet. Let me know if you want to see a few progress shots from the beginning.
You beat me to the punch. I was going to make a Sistine Chapel comparison. If Majel Barrett were depicted in some fashion, one could called it... Rest of forum: "Bill, don't you dare!" ...the Christine Chapel! Rest of forum: "Michael? Can you please ban him for that wretched pun?! PLEASE??!!!"
So very beautiful !!! However ... the parents of your son's friends are not going to like you. You just made "keeping up with the Joneses" dang near impossible.
