They really seem to be incapable of being decent human beings over there in Axaland.
So if there is an ISS Ares patch does that mean the shorts are also going to involve the Mirror Universe?

I read that as shorts (as in short pants) and wondered if that was going to be the next bit of apparel we'd see in the Axa-store - MU shorts. Which are as short as George Michael's blue and whites in Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go but black as Robert Smith (of the Cure)'s eyeliner.

The ISS Ares patch is just another cash grab, and the Mirror Universe has been done lots in fan films. Plus, unless they do it as 'Enterprise' did, not appropriate for the era Axanar is set in, canon wise!

EDIT: It was bad enough that 'Discovery' S1 (if it's supposedly a prequel to TOS) predated "Mirror, Mirror"!

I'd say challenge them on the art usage. Which unfortunately would get you grief, and then put on the haters list!:sigh:

The ultimate male short shorts for me are Tom Selleck's in Magnum P.I. Now those are some short shorts.

That's just what shorts were like before guys got all weirdly Victorian and made them and swim trunks go down to their knees.

Yeah, back in the day the cool ones were called tennis shorts.

The long ones, usually some shade of plaid, were called Bermuda shorts, and were for old guys wearing white shoes and a matching belt. :techman:

Not cool. I can understand your frustrations.

As for credits and the like, over on a forum where I post about the FASA Starship Combat game, I have had occasion to use screencaps of a few of the FASA designs in threads. Even though the images are from the FASA online database created by the forum creator, I still credit FASA and the forum owner! At its simplest, it plain good manners!

So safe to say you're not designing this type of thing anymore? Were you a one time supporter?

Did you do all the designs on your site? I swear I've seen them on ballcaps and other things.

Well, when it comes to Bermuda shorts and white shoes don't forget the knee high socks.

Wow, what the hell were they thinking. You'd think they could have just found a way to pin it up or something rather than shoving under a dirty set.

It seems the crew (not unreasonably) didn't expect the floor of a "sound stage" would be filthy as f*ck

OMG, that is the first time in I don't know how long I've read an entire article on Fan Film Factor, and I was laughing the whole time. I was always taught that when you borrow something, you treat it like it was your own or better. You don't put a green screen on a floor, I've never used one, and even I know that. Lane is right, it's his responsibility since it's his production, but I wish he wouldn't turn to crowdfunding to fix his mistake.
