True--there were no oustanding or extraordinary performance in Endgame, including Evans, who perfected his character far and above all other MCU performers, but in Endgame, it was all flat, by-the-numbers performances. None deserved a nomination for their work.

Yeah I'm picturing something like 'Scrubs', but with lawyers instead of doctors. Mostly comedy, but also some legit drama ingrained into it's DNA.

In your opinion. I think RDJ, Renner and Evans did wonders.

Whereas Phoenix apparently deserves awards because he lost weight and laughed a lot.

Just announced for the Disney+ launch tomorrow:

Apparently this is just going to be a preview for the new MCU series on Disney+, though I have to wonder what they'll even be able to show.

Filming for WandaVision and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier just started in the last week or two, so I can't imagine they'll have anything ready to show us.

We'll find out tomorrow I guess.

Have Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk's showrunners even been working on them long enough for them to even know what the shows are going to be?
I'm thinking it's probably going to be mostly people like Kevin Feige and some of the other higher ups talking very vaguely about what they plan on doing.

Haven't seen Joker, so I've no idea if he deserves a nomination or not. But noted, I did watch Endgame again over the weekend and I didn't find anything in the performances of Evans, RDJ or Renner that was above what they had done in past installments or at the level I would think is deserving of a best actor nomination. All my opinion of course.

Supposedly Avengers Endgame on Disney+ will also allow people to view
the deleted scene with Katherine Langford as the older version of Tony's daughter

There's no MCU performance worthy of an Oscar nomination; some were okay, Evans was perfect in his role, but that does not mean it was one of the best performances of they years they were released in. The MCU never had the kind of material (or even inspiration) to deliver Academy Award level performances.

The only new stuff they showed was a little bit of the animated series What If. It was just edited version of the event with Kevin Feige announcing the new shows and some comments from the different people involved with each show..

Says you. There's more to deserving Oscars than losing weight and laughing.

You gotta get over your disgust at comic books.

Yeah, you because you're upset that non-grounded CBMs aren't viewed with disgust.

Well it's true. Phoenix lost a lot of weight and laughed a lot, the rest of the time he played his usual creepy type of character.

WandaVision report indicates a live studio audience, a heavy I Love Lucy influence and a nosy neighbor named Agnes.

Like the writer of the article, I wonder if "Agnes" will in fact be Agatha Harkness, which would make her the first of the Fantastic Four characters acquired by Fox to appear in the MCU.

Well, you know he's very bitter about the fact no performer in a MCU movie role was ever thought to be Oscar-worthy.
