    A 2-0 Colt 45's lead is now a 6-2 Expos lead.

    The All Road World Series.

The Nats win!!! First World Series win in franchise history! First Washington World Series win in 95 years!!!

The road warrior World Series ended in the only way it possibly could!

Never has the road team won every single game in the World Series. I have a feeling we'll never see that again.

Glorious, the Astros have become so unlikable in such a short time, I enjoyed their sad faces

I'll always count this as Washington's 2nd title.

I'm pretty sure the Nationals also had the most difficult road to the championship in World Series history, with all of their opponents combining for more than 300 regular series wins.

And they did it in the season immediately after their best player left for another team.

Absolutely remarkable. Baseball is still good, folks.

For a team that started the season with a record of 19-31, this must be the most amazing feeling for everyone involved.

I live in DC (not a Nats fan). The arrogance will be strong with them - just like the Capitals Stanley Cup win.

YES!!! So glad the Astros loss; I didn't watch the series but I got word from my friend, who's a Nationals' fan, txt me they were winning 6-2, I was happy with joy and hoping the Astros didn't come back.

Now, the Yankees have to try to sign Cole; we need a pitcher like him.

    Congrats Nationals!!

    He pulled an A-Roid.

This guy has ALWAYS been such an idiot...

Lots of interesting questions to be answered for the Yankees this off-season.

And wiping his tears with $400M? I think he's fine. He made the decision to go for the money and seems like the type of guy that's OK with that.

To show how petty I am, I hope they give out the Nationals World Series rings when the Phillies are in town.

You know the Nationals probably don’t win the World Series if Bryce Harper is still with them. The only reason they have the lineup they do is because he’s gone.

Probably not. Doesn't change the fact he spurned them for cash.
