So, next is Krennic's shuttle form Rogue One..

This didn't take me so long, Refs were sparce.. alot of fan stuff but utterly wrong in detail.. The best refference was... The Metal Earth Model!! (I know right!)

The instructions were the best help to get the sizes of everything right, most importantly the Wing length and hull angles.. most helpful!

So.. here ya go.. As always some things are simplified for 3d printing.. this one is going to be 144 so the hull is only 4 inches long, landing gear is way simplified..

    @Starship
Thanks! Guess I need to make a pretty picture or show my work more.. Hmm..

My next "big" thing is the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels, and its going to be the "Rogue One" version with the movie details on it. So stay tuned for that, And I'll show my work more.. The Magee and Shuttle were simple things to make.. ( well simple for me, been at this for over 12 years.. so easy for me is different :) )

Okay, Something I made.. Awhile back,
In school I asked the teacher a question, he was a star trek fan and made his own ships, but I asked.. How do you cut in windows and a shield grid? He said, I just use a texture.. well That didn't help me.. at all.. so I went out in to the wild internets and found out how ( For those of you starting 3D.. the various forums are a TREMENDOUS Help in figureing out how to make things, and most people readily give there knowledge to help. Just find what you like modeling and there is a 3d model forum for it!)
Now this knowledge I'm putting up now is universal, Its based in Maya, but you can do this in any program, just different commands or menu structure.
So, Hope this helps, and if anybody has any problems or any questions I can help answer, please reach out or just post on this thread!.
    Thanks!

How cool to see Krennic's shuttle pop up here, @valkyrie013! I think it's one of the best designs coming out of Star Wars for years, precisely because it's such a simple design. I have the Black Series model of the ship by Hasbro, which even though it's rather small, has movable wings, landing gear and a hatch at the bottom that can be opened.

    Hi All!
So, worked on my next thing, Starbase 1 from Disco fever!
Have egh... 5 hours maybe in to this so far, about 80-85% done, using St Online for references since Disco season 1 was a dark mess so no good refs from that..
Seen that it is... 2700 Meters in Diameter ( I included the docking arms) So that makes it.. Lets see.. 1.7 Miles Wide, 3.45 Miles (5500 Meters)Tall, with 1,375 decks ( at 4 meters tall) O_O big bitch.. :)
So, pictures! have the Disco and Magee in there as scale.. and on 1 there is a red circle.. in that red circle is a square.. that is a 2 meter tall .. "Human"

Very nicely done! One nit, though, it’s Magee class, with one “g” and two “e”’s.

    More Hoover!
Getting close to done, some details left to do, and all of the saucer windows to do, but coming along!
strangely... there doesn't seem to be the big honking window for the bridge.. Huh.. and yeah, window placement is crap.. only one that really done well is the Mala and the Discoprise..

You’re definitely doing these designs justice. Would like to see some skin on them at some point.

    So done with the Hoover.!
So no bridge window it seems.. just a light there.. huh.. who knows.. but this marks the end of scratch building the disco ships.. ( Unless I decide to do a Discovery.. doubt it..already a good model of it that I have..)
the rest I found on Thingy verse and they seem really good size wise, but missing alot of details, windows etc. so Next I'll redo those models, and add the details.. so eventually I'll have all the ships! Woo!
so untill then, here ya go!
