Dax leaves, camera zooms in on Morn: Morn (thick British accent): "I don't know who the Devil that was."
I can just hear Mordock & Mendon: "Benzites ain't the only ones rocking the identical geostructures!"
Morn's actor, Mark Allan Shepard, has been living in Germany for over 15 years. He has a family over here. I don't think, they would bring him back, but this would definitely be great. In this scene, there are 2 Andorians, the Lurian, a Cardassian, a human looking guy, but what species is the sixth person? Second on the left.
32nd-century Dax: "Our contact is a Lurian posing as an enemy soldier. You'll find him at the bar located at... these coordinates." Burnham: "How should I approach him?" Dax: "However you like. Come within two meters of the guy and he'll never stop talking. You'll have your intel... eventually."
It's always the ones you suspect the least. Don't forget about "Who Mourns for Morn?" All that money he stole and kept for himself. He's a shady character. But he lulls everyone into a false sense of security and they don't even know it. That's what makes him the perfect enemy.
Yep. Morn was a 100% latex suit that showed 0% of the actor that played him, and 0% of his voice. Pretty sure they can find someone else to take over the part. Although I’m pretty sure the guy we see in the trailer is not Morn.
Morn slips Dukhat a nice $100 bill. Nothing like a Ben Franklin to make sure your foot soldiers keep the scent thrown off you.
To keep being fair, the main difference between Morn and the Discovery's bridge crew is that Morn has been a side/background character for seven full-length seasons, while the side/background characters serving in the Disco bridge crew only had two half-length ones.
Fairest in the land, that would be a genuine argument were it not that none of them have had any significant development in 2 seasons and 5 Short Treks. Any fine writer would have been able to do that with just 1 single episode
Being critical of STD's writing which lacks significant character development for so many characters isn't "hating"
No but every post you make here is overly negative, and rarely constructive criticism and it’s really tiring. I’m going to stop responding to you now.
But why would they need to though? They're not the main characters of the show. Voyager didn't feel the need to develop Joe Carey and Ayala. Michael Eddington was Generic Security Officer #4479 for two seasons before they decided to turn him into a Maquis member.
The posts and replies aren't meant to "tire", they are expressions of critical thoughts on Kurtzman's output. There is no requirement for them to adhere to someone else's for example positive views of STD. This is after all not the fanclub
