I wouldn't put it past LFIM to use look-alikes or people who sound similar, yet keep those names out there for marketing purposes

My guess is this is someone to be shot (er, by a camera) over her shoulder, not too close, etc.

This is reminiscent of Plan 9 From Outer Space, an important and inspiring cinematic milestone that was, say it with me folks, finished.

So 'our' friend is poking the bear still, will he ever learn anything from all this mess ?

[ ] Yes - It might take even longer for him to learn something if anything from all this

[ ] No - He won't learn a dang blasted thing from all this & will still be poking the bear

P.S. we're still waiting on that 'movie' Alac it's been well past 30 days out after all...

I take it this is from one of the BTS videos posted over the weekend? Only watched a few seconds to see what they looked like.

    BOOM! Mike drop! ;)

So we'll see Ed Wood's dentist playing Kate Vernon's character? :techman:

    Hold my root beer...
Con men whose goal is only money take it and run. Con men can have all sorts of objectives. What makes them con men is how they achieve those objectives, regardless of what they are.
Agreed. I'm sure he's known exactly what he was doing this whole time. Where we disagree is that you think what he was doing was just making a film.
All con men are capable of being nice. You have to make your marks comfortable with you.
"Never has" is not the same as "never will." To quote investment commercials, "past performance is no guarantee of future results."
He could always have made it. The only reason he's actually doing it now is that you can only string people along for so long before you have to deliver. Bernie Madoff reached the end of his line, too.

^That sums up my feelings pretty well too.
If Axanar actually get released and is decent, it will be in spite of Alec, not because of him. It will be because he actually managed to con competent people into working for him.
I have to admit, a while back I was looking through some of the comics I have not bought yet that plan on reading, and there were some by Paul Jenkins. His involvement in Axanar has actually made me hesitant to buy or read his stuff now.

I'll get the candles if you bring the Ouija board for the séance.

Those uniforms are hot garbage and the bridge set still looks like a rejected Babylon 5 set had an unholy spawn with the original series bridge.

The red shirts really accentuates the man-boobs, and yet somehow flattens out the woman in red. And oh my, look at the wrinkles. The guy in blue and the guy sitting in the chair both could use better fitting uniforms, no?

As to the bridge, well, Hey!, it's actually finished. How amazing is that?

It's that expensive top quality Italian costumer.......glad he paid big money for these! But knowing LFIM maybe they were a perfect fit and he washed them in hot water and put them in a dryer............The Starfleet patch also doesn't look very secure.

Oddly for those reasons I quite like it, the set does have a TOS mixed with a little Kelvin influence (the forward consoles flanking the helm) but with the displays there is a definite B5 aesthetic coming in.

Thinking about it though at some point didn't they have someone who used to work on B5's art team working on the sets? Probably where the similarities come from.

I kind of like the design of the uniform. I prefer the V-neck that the women's unform has and think the men's should have had that, too.

I actually love the bridge set. It is a great blend of old and new for a fan film. The uniforms are just a hot mess.

Actually it isn’t. If you read stuff from rmb and others who worked on the set they view it as unfinished and a lot that was supposed to be fine wasn’t.
