I always liked "Beware of Doug" and there is a dude hiding behind a tree on the lawn

 

An old coworker of mine named Doug had a copy of that one posted on his wall.

The FAR SIDE is returning!

 

I cannot wait to see what he comes up with. Also I hope he does what he did the first 14 years: keep specific pop cultural references/ characters to a minimum. Like he would use superman, but it was usually an old, out of touch, Norman Rockwell version of him. I remember one panel about Daffy Duck's resume. But these were maybe 1 in every 80 comics.

 

Soon to be added by Larson in the comments sections for the cartoons about moron posters:

Who the hell is Wayne?
