This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

I will start season 3 with the end of the season... "SCORPION". This was a great season finale, probably the best one of VOYAGER. It was tense, it felt epic. The teaser was perhaps the fastest one in the franchise, about 30 seconds or so. But that bit, with TWO Borg cubes blown to bits by just a couple shots from afar... seeing that, you knew you were in for quite a ride this episode.

I think "Before & After" is a wildly satisfying episode. Possibly the only time they did something truly interesting with the Ocampan life span.

Both halves of Future's End are great, but I'll save the second one for taking the important step of giving the Doctor his mobile emitter, something the character sorely needed.

Sod it I'll save Worst Case Scenario. There are better episodes this season but it's just so much damn fun!

I was going to save "WORST CASE SCENARIO", but I see I was beaten to it. So "DISTANT ORIGIN" is my next save. A great episode with a great message. Great Chakotay focus, too.

"Warlord" is one of the best Trek possession eps, Jennifer Lien is great in it. The in-head Kes & Tieran confrontation is a clever way to keep the possessed character active in the narrative. And it manages something even DS9 couldn't pull off: giving us an evil version of one of our regulars, and playing that evil version kind of gay, and (the trick) doing it in non-offensive fashion! Thumbs up!

I’ll save “Basics Part II,” it’s hard for conclusion episodes to be truly satisfying and that episode does so with room to spare. Great moments for nearly all the cast and Brad Dourif is amazing as Suder.

I quite like Unity. A nice setup for more of a Borg presence down the line (for better or for worse ;)), and I quite liked the idea of a community of ex-Borg. Kind of like the Descent story on TNG, but without the stupid cliffhanger, and the beige Lore plot.

"Remember" is head and shoulders over the rest of these. A gripping episode, with great social commentary and a standout performance by Dawson.

I will get rid of the other half of "Future's End." All that amazing LA location work alone sells me on this. Especially now -- 23 years after the fact, watching this episode really does take me back in time.

Fair Trade, as I like the idea of Neelix's clownish behaviour hiding a more underhanded side, a character interpretation that sadly didn't go anywhere outside of this episode and "Caretaker".

Saving Fair Trade, a good Neelix episode, and I loved the other Talaxian in this one.

The Chute was one of the better uses of Harry over the show's run. It had an interesting idea with him and Tom being falsely imprisoned.

There are two really great moments in The Chute: 1. When Janeway slides down it with a phaser rifle, and 2. At the end when Tom says "You wanna know what I remember, Harry? When you were standing over me yelling 'this man is my friend. No one is gonna touch him' I'm gonna remember that for a long time."

"DISPLACED" is getting (wait for it)...

    displaced off this list.

It was a fun idea that was pretty well executed.

Flashback; they could have done more in the way of having the Voyager and Excelsior characters interact, but it was nice to see Sulu back again.

I let Real Life slip through the cracks. I love seeing the EMH's idea of a family, and then B'Elanna changing it to be more realistic, and driving him mad. I also love the end when he loses his daughter. Robert Picardo nailed it.

It takes awhile to get there, but "Alter Ego" winds up in quite a touching place, with Tuvok & Marayna on the lonely space station.

"RISE" is next for me. I used to not really like this episode much, but in recent years, I have become more fond of it due to the Tuvok/Neelix relationship.
