When I was a kid, "Schisms", "Identity Crisis" and "Genesis" freaked me out.

Now they're warm and fuzzy nostalgic memories:lol:

Definitely "Schisms". The scene where it's revealed that Riker's arm has been cut off and reattached gives me the shivers every time.

Nothing beats Conspiracy for creepiness. It's gross, shocking, and awesome. A Vitamin-empowered Admiral who can beat up Worf, worm-eating, an exploding head, and one angry mother creature parasite. TNG didn't even try to outdo this episode.

Honorable mentions for Skin of Evil, Where Silence Has Lease, Q Who, Night Terrors, Identity Crisis, Violations, Schisms, Frame of Mind, Phantasms, and Genesis. The Brannon Braga episodes had too much technobabble but I liked that they tried to bring horror back to TNG.

All of the Lwaxana Troi episodes, klingon politics episodes and any episode requiring Marina Sirtis to act outside of her limited range. Also The Host, because of Crusher and Riker bumping uglies

I always thought Justice was very creepy. The main male alien was definitely a creeper. He wasn't physically fit as the rest of the guys on the planet, wore way too tight bottoms, and was trying to get down all the female crew members pants in that old dude hanging out in college bars kind of creepiness.

Schisms is the one that first came to my mind; a clever twist on a fairly familiar idea, and yes, that holodeck scene is brilliant. An object lesson in quietly mounting tension. It's also subtle, and restrained - do we ever get a full, clear view of the abductors? - which is always my preference for creepy, relying more on suggestion than detail. Phantasms and Night Terrors also work well for me, the former especially, in a "what the heck is this all about?" and everything-just-off-kilter-enough-to-unsettle-you kind of way. Conversely, Genesis leaves me pretty cold; I find it more grotesque than anything else, like it's trying just a little too hard. All this is subjective, of course!

They changed that in the German version: The signal became a warning about humanity!
That holodeck scene with the shadow reconstructing a gray blob out of nothing was just as creepy as the Schisms clicks

Most of the good choices have been mentioned, but I'll add that the mind raping asshole in Violations has gotta be up there. The Mind's Eye has some Manchurian Candidate creepy going on too. Oh yeah.. & the mouth things in Realm of Fear. Pretty creepy

Times Squared. Growing up that episode always freaked me out specifically the scene where the future Picard has a horrifying expression on his face. The acting, the music, the suspense just always gave me uncomfortable goosebumps.

"Galaxy's Child" - Geordi Laforge was REALLY CREEPY towards the visiting Leah Brahms in that particular episode. ;)

Genesis - firstly, I felt ill and faint at the sight of Troi's salt craving and wolfing (pardon the pun!) down of the caviar.
I was incredibly freaked out by her transformation as a kid. Her huge lovebite by Worf, with blood pouring down in the bath made me feel queasy. Her shivers and change in body temperature, as well as her gulping down pints of water, made me feel weak. Later, especially with her torn off loose hair surrounding her in the bath, with scales and the warm, moist environment, during the complete transformation.

I'd like to throw another ep out for consideration, one I've just finished watching - Timescape. It's not as overtly creepy as others, but there's something distinctly unsettling about it throughout, thanks to nice build-up and pacing of reveals as the mystery unwinds, and the visually unnerving tableaus of frozen ships and crews. Another example of quiet and restraint working well.

I love when everyone's frozen, and Geordi walks past the one Romulan, stops, and says "wait a minute... Was this guy here before?" It's like when you see something in the corner of your eye, but it just doesn't immediately register. Geordi captures that feeling really well.

The scene when we see Beverly being shot by a Romulan disruptor was quite disturbing. The Romulan explained that he was trying to shoot at something else but you have to be a real creep to fire at something when there are innocent people in the line of fire. I guess it's standard behavior to a Romulan though.

I think they were trying to convey that the Romulan pulled out his phaser to shoot the alien, and Beverly jumped in front of the alien
