Nickelodeon has released the teaser for the Invader Zim TV movie, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus.

It's weird to see Zim and company in HD. I like the tweaks to the character designs.

My daughter used to love this show. She finally got me to watch an episode. It was hysterical. I loved every second of it. My favorite character was the little human kid who was the only person who noticed that Zim was obviously an alien. Oh, the name of the school; "SKOOL". :guffaw: Great show. Defiinitly a precursor to Rick and Morty.

I'll be looking for this new version

Love Invader Zim and very hyped for this. It would be a dream if it did well enough and those involved were interested that it could return as a series.

Looks like it's using some material from the comic. Time has passed since the last episode, Zim did nothing for a few years while Dib sat in his room watching him the entire time.

Anyone watch? What did you think?

I was pretty sure I'd enjoy it, but I'm surprised at just how much I did. It really didn't miss a beat. It was also a whole lot prettier than I imagined.

Uh...? It aired already? I didn't read any broadcast date and time in any of these posts, so I thought it was still "on the way". Was it exclusive to one of the "premium" streaming services (which is sadly becoming the norm these days)?

So someone posted the Invader Zim pilot on Youtube.

Billy West is usually good but frankly Richard Horvitz is a better Zim.

I agree. And Zim sounded more like Gir for bit here and there.
