"Star Trek" debuted when you were 12. Immediately, you were captivated by the adventures of James T. Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and the rest of the crew. You have seen the franchise go from one show that struggled in the ratings to a global phenomenon. While you appreciate the 80s and 90s "Star Trek" series, you will always have a soft spot for the series that started it all.

    Nope. I'm 53!

A toast to fellow 64-year-olds!

    Huh.

Star Trek debuted when I was 3. I got into it when I was 12. I'm 56, so they're off by 8 years.

Some of those questions need a "none of the above" option.

Apparently I'm also a 19 year old who was born in the mid-80s. Gotta agree on the serious lack of choices (what's your favorite series but DS9 doesn't count? etc).

And what the heck is up with asking me point blank what I think of ENT specifically and nothing else yet not giving a single option for 'I honestly think it's bad'. It's not 'ok'. It's not 'weird because the prequel has too advanced technology'. It's just bad.

The quiz shows you well which TV series/films are your favorites. The age has underestimated more than twice because let's not fool ourselves the quiz recognizes that if you like DSC, ST09 or ENT then you can't be older. But by the results in this thread you can see with high probability which ST is the favorite of the user. Congratulations to the 19-year-olds. ;-)

So, the quiz only basically has four results:

64 - if you like TOS the best
44 - if you like TNG the best
31 - if you like VOY the best
19 - if you like DIS the best

    I got 64 when I'm actually 28.

I like how the question "Which 'Star Trek' food or beverage would you try if you could?" has Earl Grey tea as an option along with Gagh, Plomeek soup and Romulan ale. If only I could find my way to a supermarket, then maybe I could try this mystical beverage, but I fear this may be too big a hope.

I got 44. Five years too young, and it was really off about TNG being my favorite. If they had actually given more DS9 answers, they'd have been more accurate.

I like Next Generation most and still got 64, I guess I'm too favorable to Star Trek with my desire for Romulon Ale and love Spock too much to be the closer 44.

    44. Wrong.

As a child, your parents took you to the movie so that they could watch the "The Wrath of Khan" and "The Search for Spock." They passed on their love for the franchise to you. When someone asks you what your favorite "Star Trek" series is you usually reply "Star Trek: The Next Generation" because that's the one you associate with your youth.

I discovered Trek all on my own, thank you very much. Though nostalgia playing a part with TNG being my favorite might have something to it.

Calling an internet quiz "science" is being extremely generous.

I'm less than the 55 they pegged me at, this test sucks.

Ooof, this test is.... well, there are so many questions where the answers are incomplete, at best!

Apparently, I should be singing the Beatles song "when I'm sixty four", according to this test I'm 64 xD

I'm just shy of half that age! Hah!

I don't think this test is "weird", just rather simplistic. And with incomplete answer options, too, yeah.

Pegged me at 44, as I'm 40 this year - I'd say the test worked for me :)

Absolutely. Most the of the possible answers were pretty slanted as well.
It's almost as if whoever made this wanted to cast TOS/TMP fans as "grumpy old farts". That's just me being cynical, though!

    I got 44... I’m 27.

Not a single word of this is true.
