News Daniel Craig signs up for Bond 25, Christopher Nolan in talks to direct

The backlash was sadly predictable these days. Unfortunately I predict a reverse backlash when Lashana is killed ten minutes in so Bond can get his number back. This will be Monica Bellucci all over again I fear.

Rumored title is GENOMA OF A WOMAN, but given its coming directly from a translator from another language I think it was meant to read as A PROPERTY OF A LADY.

 

There's some notion that the story may revolve around Madeline Swann's DNA? Property of a Lady would work in that context.

I still remember the outrage over the "not my first time" scene before the release of skyfall. There are times when I think its all planned just to drum up interest in the film.

I remember one of the Bond ‘continuation novel’ authors saying one of the hardest parts was coming up with a cool Ian Fleming style titles...

This one is kinda silly, but taking that as a good sign since I’m hoping they veer away from the dark and gritty angle.

 

It’s a bit Random Bond Name Generator, if you ask me - Die Another Day, Tomorrow Never Dies, Live and Let Die. It’s like Bond keeps coming up with excuses not to die.

It's a nice statement about the franchise, but I hope that's as meta as they get.

 

I like the title anyway.

 

Eh, I guess it's fine. But it's no "A Quantum of Solace", now that was a title.

 

QUATUM OF SOLACE is such a crazy title for a tent pole action adventure film that I kind of love it for that. Albeit, the actual short story of that title was really a melodrama that probably would have made a solid Benedict Cumberbatch period piece.
