Does anyone have the Stardate Collections from IDW?

    I'm referring to these https://www.idwpublishing.com/produ...-vol-2-under-the-command-of-christopher-pike/

I've been thinking of getting reprints of the old Early Voyages comics from the 90's, I know there is also an omnibus from IDW but I've heard it has picture quality issues (it was blurry). I looked at the Amazon reviews but they only discuss the stories in the books but nothing on their image quality.

I also see Eaglemoss has reprinted Early Voyages, would those be a good alternative?

$50 is steep. I got the IDW reprint for half that and found it perfectly readable.

I have Star Trek Omnibus, Volume 2, not the Stardate Collection (IDW's principles for collecting archival material are terrible), but many of the issues look very good. A little over half have some blurriness issues: #4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. It's pretty mild (to me, anyway), and mostly noticeable when you compare the lettering to the other issues.

My guess is that however these were sourced, the Eaglemoss ones were sourced in the same way, but I haven't seen those myself.

The Eaglemoss ones are sourced from IDW, so the flaws in IDW’s collections are also in the Eaglemoss versions.

OP should find a copy of the Omnibus, or else find a copy of the GIT Complete Comic Book Collection DVD and read them there.
