Well, Celts sure went out with a whimper. After Milwaukee responded in game 2, Kyrie shut down and they couldn’t figure out how to play as a cohesive unit again.

Would be so awesome if Houston knocked out the basketball evil empire.

Another boring-ass finals. Maybe if enough people tune out the NBA will get the message about league parity.

The only way Finals' ratings will suffer is if for some reason, the Warriors DON"T get to the Finals. I'm sure Adam Silver is praying that Toronto/Portland, or Denver/Philly DOESN"T happen.

The Warriors definitely showed that they are still a cut above everyone else. If there are no additional injuries and they get KD and maybe Boogie back, I don't see much standing between them and a 3-Peat.

Most of the teams I wanted to see eliminated from the playoffs have gone down, Jazz, Rox, Spurs. and of course, the Celts. Still waiting to see TRaps and Sixers go down.

Hoping for a Bucks/Dubs Finals. KD versus Giannis should be great.

I think the Raptors/Bucks series will do better than expected after the hype of the ending of the Sixers-Raptors series. I mean, it won't be Philadelphia-Boston because we're talking about a midwest team and a Canadian team, but I think people will tune in to see Kawhi and Giannis.

New Orleans Pelicans land the number 1 overall pick against the odds, and with it the right to select much-hyped Zion Williamson.

My guess is they will either deal the pick or Anthony Davis. If not, they will select one of the two top guards - Morant or Barrett.

Pleasantly shocked that my Lakers somehow sneaked not the No. 4. I was so convinced we'd stay at #11 that I didn't bother even watching. Our need is at center, but when you draft this high, you take best player regardless of need.

So I'm hoping for Darius Garland, a scoring point guard who can get his own shot, or forward De'Andre Hunter who is a 3 and D guy.

Knicks fans freaking out they didn't get Zion. Lately, it seems, the team with the worst record has stayed at #1. Not this year.

Hope Portland can defend home court, but I doubt it.

I guess it really was "unfair" to allow KD to go to the Warriors, because they've now clinched second best team in the NBA and have a good chance of ending up the best team again -- WITHOUT KD (not to mention Boogie as well). ;)

That Drake guy, don't know him. Is he famous for being a jackass, or for unsuccessfully attempting to impersonate VanVleet?

No, he's primarily known for being a singer/rapper/performer, and now, apparently, for becoming the first non-referee or player, to take up residence in an NBA head coaches' head during the Conference Finals. :D

Can the Raptors do it? One win away from the Finals... Curry, Green, Durant vs Kawhi and... Drake...

Toronto did it indeed. Very impressive to beat the Bucks four times in a row.

I hope they manage to dethrone the Warriors. I don't like their chances though, even if Durant misses the series.

538 prediction is funny in that regard: Raptors 57%, Warriors 43%.

They even made fun of their own model “Our model is wrong. All due respect to our model.”

I don't care if they don't like it, I'm going with it. :ouch:

Raps are in deep. They are severly inexperienced which is the same thing that sank the Bucks in the ECF. Bucks "purpose" this season was to make it to the ECF and prove themselves to be a legit contender. Raps had been there, done that, and their "purpose" this season was to finally get past the ECF and into the Finals. They've succeeded. Their season is a success. That is the very essence of "inexperience".

They're going to meet a GSW team that doesn't care about "getting to the Finals'. Their purpose is to 3-Peat. But additionally, I think their purpose has now become, 'win a ring without KD'. That is doubly bad for the Raps. The last thing they needed was a great GSW team finding even more incentive.

I'm not saying the Raps have no chance, they do, but there is a reason there are almost never upsets in the NBA Finals.

Just like Lebronto, it'll probably be Oaklando this time, Kawhi notwithstanding.

No getting my hopes up but this might be best chance in three years of a non-boring result. Go Canada!
