    Star Trek: Prodigy.

After ST: Revolution, ST: Destiny, ST: Reliant, it's getting difficult to figure out which titles will actually make it to the screen and which will be discarded. Other previously reported items are ST: Ceti Alpha V, ST: Lower Decks and ST: Starfleet Academy. All filings are for series, not games or such.

Star Trek: Prodigy certainly sounds like it could be the Nickelodeon kids show.

Can it have Firestarter as the theme song?

Looks like it's about $1k to file a trademark. Probably $50k+ for legal to approve it though :D

Hey, my mum probably struggles. I remember when the film Armageddon was released, (a film she was obsessed with), but it took her years to be able to pronounce it properly. I never bother trying to mention Johnny Mnemonic around her either.

Strangely enough, I was thinking of Firestarter during Eurovision on Saturday. The visuals for the Icelandic entry reminded me of that video.

We've got three unnamed series (Section 31, Nickelodeon and the unnamed, once-mentioned non-Khan miniseries), but four trademarked series names. This is assuming that Starfleet Academy is the planned Starfleet Academy show, and Ceti Alpha V is/was the planned Ceti Alpha V miniseries.

Could Prodigy be the rumored Pike series that we've received no word on? This would make maybe Revolution Section 31(?), Destiny the Nickelodeon series, and Reliant the miniseries, I guess. Maybe the miniseries is a Picard tie-in to his younger days (Picard having served on a Reliant as an Ensign). Maybe the Pike series will be a miniseries dealing with a, umm, prodigy of some sort (a godling, a la Amanda Rogers or Charlie X perhaps).

I don't think they have any Pike series in development so no point in registering anything for it.

Ceti Alpha is obviously the Khan miniseries.
Star Fleet academy is obvious, though I don't know why they don't announce it.

Lower Decks has already been announced.

I think Destiny was the original title for Picard.

Prodigy being the Nickelodeon animated show is a good guess.

Revolution could be Section 31, but most likely they will call it Section 31.

I am going to trademark "Star Trek: Cyrus" just in case.

If we think that some of these reserved trademarks were just early names for properties, renamed, then it's possible that Star Trek: Prodigy is just a renamed Starfleet Academy, centering around one character (a prodigy) or on some kind of Prodigy Project at the Academy for the best and brightest. Maybe they are planning on announcing the Academy show soon, since they have all the pieces in place (showrunners, network, possibly title).

Starfleet Academy is kind of a lazy name, and kind of shooting themselves in the foot if they wish to last more than four years.

There's a way around that. Every season can cover a semester instead of an entire year. That gets you eight, assuming you start with freshmen.

The Academy stays the same, but cadets come and go. Pretty sure everyone learned from Beverly Hills 90210 way back in the 90's where everyone was in high school for like 10 years :D

If they do it as an animated series, there would be no limit, like the Simpsons. ;)

They can totally squeeze 10 seasons into 4 in-universe years if they really want. Or rotate cast members endlessly. Or just do a Smallville and keep calling the show that even when everyone's long since moved to Metropolis.
