Personally I hope this isn't it for Pine, Quinto, Urban and crew, I do like them.

And we haven't seen the new Enterprise in all her glory yet! (though I wouldn't be offended if they just borrowed DSC's Enterprise sets, like TFF and TUC used the Next Generation's...)

Give me a John Cho Captain Sulu show! Kelvin universe is still one of the best parts of Star Trek for me.

Pikes Discoprise bridge would work great for the ENT-A (anything but the lensflare Applebridge:))
And really the cast haven't got that much going on (apart from Saldana & Pine and even those are supporting roles) so they totally need ST4 :)

Karl Urban is the lead in "The Boys," a new series.

Of course I'd love them to do one more.

But Paramount Pictures are having none of paying the actors what they previously agreed to for a fourth film, and they don't want anything to do with Bad Robot anymore either (and the feeling is very mutual), so it's not gonna happen. They'll probably do a cheap rereboot in a few years, maybe a more expensive one if they get Tarantino to direct (which I doubt very much)

    Yes.

Idk, I like the bridge of these movies better than Discovery's version (some said that it seems like jj's bridge with a dark color theme and I kinda agree. Feels like when you switch to Twitter dark version lol ). Might be more nostalgia (it has to be btw) but kelvin's bridge is easy to the eyes and possibly more realistic. I dunno but discovery's version doesn't seem to be an efficient and comfortable work place.

Also, those tos reimagined uniforms in discovery scream project runway disaster. The monocollar may be stylish and look good on discovery's uniforms because it's the same color of the rest of the uniform but on the enterprise ones it looks silly to me. I don't get the point.
I still think Kaplan's uniforms from st09 and stid were the best. I can buy the characters running like crazy with that uniform. Beyond made me feel uncomfortable for the guys because those look like they are made with neoprene. I only liked Uhura's new uniform. However, Kaplan had made a long sleeves version too I don't understand why they didn't give Zoe (and Alice) one in the first two (especially when you see her constantly wear a warm jacket behind the scenes because she got cold)

in either case, kelvin ship is a different ship and makes sense it is. They were more allowed to do something different.

I've got all the Kelvinverse movies at least twice in different formats/versions. Please don't let them make any more - I don't want to buy movies I don't like to complete my collection !

In fairness, '09 was kind of O.K. if dumb, full of plot holes and badly cast. The other two got steadily worse...

Completely agree. The Kelvin films have a lot of strengths but the uniforms top the list in terms of visual designs.

I feel like the movies themselves are dead and done. But I'd welcome, say, and animated series picking up their gauntlet and running with it, ala The Clone Wars series. ;)

Like that much better than the current planned animated series. Read the synopsis of what is intended for the first time, a bunch of youth criminals steal a old Starfleet vessel and go on their own adventures.

If what I read is accurate, this sound like something I'll avoid. A little darkness is okay in my book, but following criminals no.

A animated continuation of the Abrams universe would be much better, especially if they can use close likenesses of the actors.

Totally agree. I was VERY disappointed by the main uniforms in Beyond (the "landing party" variations were fine, though).

And yes, I'd very much like more from this cast and setting. As an oldster who's seen every version of Trek and been watching since 1973, these films, especially the first two, are my favourite of all the films by a considerable margin.

Huge fan of the Abrams films. Though if they are just going to give us another variation of a bad guy with a grudge, I wouldn't be much excited.

Agree. Since Abrams films used elements of TOS films, then I am ready for Abrams V'Ger film[TMP].

"Lawless teens" is the line used in the synopsis, which doesn't quite mean "criminals". For starters, the show is aimed young so it's not going to be too dark, and second we don't know anything about the society they come from. We could be talking lawless by "Justice" standards.

Well, I know it's not official, but if it's any consolation, I'm working on it as a personal project. Still a ways to go before it's finished, however.

Couple different helm designs I've roughed out. Not sure which I'll go with.

Give Pike a movie on board the Enterprise and find a way to bring Jaylah back. Maybe in the Discovery timeline, Jaylah just crash landed on the planet. I just really want to see the character again, even though it would be pretty different with Scott not there.

Seems like that train left the station. I'd be more interested in something different from writers not on Bad Robot's B team.
