The two of you should get a room.

It's amazing hum much progress has been made in the make-believe department. Remember how you could see Riker's beard intact through Deanna's very deep scratches... Seems terrible compared to what they do today.

Maybe, but the "X impaled by Y" thing is getting old.

Especially since nothing will ever top Picard's clone impalement in Nemesis (That they stole from "Excalibur" btw)

And if they are afraid of doing anything to ruffle the fans you get Insurrection and Nemisis which are mediocre TNG 2 parters at best.

There was no logic or motivation thrown aside in this scene. Either Pike or Cornwell could have tried their best to make sure both of them came out of it alive. But from the conversation, Cornwell was basically telling PIke she was done. And that she was doing exactly the same thing that she always did. Get him to continue to be the inspiring captain she believed he was. If you follow their conversations over the course of the season, its pretty damn easy to see. In the end, he respected her for her decision not to seek extraordinary measures.

As for no one mentioning that the suit could do a series of microjumps before the big 950 year jump. That's just new information which Star Trek has always indulged in when they want to add a little suspense or take a left turn. And again, maybe some people don't like this, want all the information up front so they have all the answers ahead of time to make sure each episode is like an equation. I seem to recall Spock being schooled on the fact that life isn't a math equation, and that too, is Star Trek.

I just wish the writers would pay attention to what happened in the previous episodes. The seven signals were all in different places and they were all revealed at the same time at the start.

Probably one of the reasons Emperor Georgiou was disliked by many. Too soft.

Look. They can't remember what they said in the previous part of the two-parter, expecting them to remember what happened in the first episode of the season is obviously too much. Also, if you're thinking these sort of things you clearly hate fun.

You're not supposed to remember that. Look away nothing to see there.

I like fun. I enjoy those Transformers movies and they are a load of nonsense. I just expect more from Star Trek.

And they repeatedly said they didn't know where and when they occured. But that's time travel for you. Not an exact science when looked at from the position on non time travelers. IE people don't get accurate views of something when they aren't looking from every direction.

It was sarcasm. If you weren't a fun hater you would have realised that.

But the map showed the signals in 7 different locations. Two weren’t in the same place.
