Spock's shuttle disappeared in the Mutara sector. He seems destined to always have trouble there.

The spore chamber in engineering is a weird repurposing of the glass side chamber Spock died in, in Wrath of Khan.

In the Harry Mudd short, some of the Harry Mudd androids were wearing clothing similar to what Harry wore in the original series.

Amanda reading Lewis Carroll to Spock - "Once Upon A Planet" (TAS)
Xenophobic/isolationist/secessionist/supremacist Vulcans - "Gambit" (TNG), et al.

Detmer's eypiece looks very much like Seven of Nine's.

Lorca's fortune cookie read by Pike, very much a reference to The Cage, and Managerie.

The Bau'ul look a lot like Armus from Skin of Evil.

Bottle of Chateu Picard in Georgiou's ready room on the Shenzou.

Actually Paris is the Federation's capital.

We don't know what the capital city of United Earth is. AFAIK, it's never been revealed in canon. Memory Beta says it's London, but doesn't provide any further context.

Since the future supposedly isn't set, and she's been messing with everyone's timelines, it would've been nice for her to give Pike some specifics. But no.......

Spock's "the engineering comprehension necessary to..." line a few episodes ago about future technology was stright from ST'09.

The story about the Vulcan Hello says Vulcans first encountered Klingons at Ha'toria. That was the planet Worf was governor of in AGT.

Leland's investigation of an "alligator on Cestus III" has to be a reference to the Gorn.

The novels also have Section 31 being run by an AI named Control.

The coordinates for Talos IV are taken from FASA.

Michael and her mother touching palm-to-palm through the containment field at their good-bye reminds me of Kirk and Spock's at the latter's death in TWOK. The needs of the many...

By the way, I love what this thread implies against all the accusations of "The producers don't know anything about Star Trek," and "They don't care about Star Trek." They obviously know it intimately, and I am prepared to ride this out and see where it goes.

The S31 communicators are the same as TNG/DS9/VOY communicators.

Mrs. Burnham's remarks about time's moods are reminiscent of Annorax's rants in VOY's "Year of Hell."

Tranya relished by Clint Howard - "The Corbomite Maneuver" (TOS)
Klingon graffito saying 'Your mother has a flat forehead!' - "Affliction"/"Divergence" (ENT), et al.
    Thruster suit; workbees - TMP
Subspace radio and relay network - TOS; TNG; DS9; VGR; ENT

Albeit, this would seem to be a subsequent visit to the one seen in "Broken Bow" (ENT), as Mirror-Georgiou said it was "nearly one hundred years ago" (as opposed to "over one hundred").

Fair enough. (I guess I always just thought of Earth at large as the UFP's capital. While Paris is where the Executive sits, the Legislature sits in San Francisco.) As for United Earth's, if distinct, one major European city or another would seem appropriate, considering that its World Government apparently grew from the initial basis of the European Hegemony, per "Up The Long Ladder" (TNG).

As Kirk doesn't seem to be aware that the Gorn had previously claimed it as their territory by "Arena" (TOS)—or indeed of what a Gorn even is—I wonder if Leland's having been "up to [his] ass in" them at some point prior indicates a potential Section 31 coverup of this fact? Maybe they even disturbed a hatchery like the Janus IV miners did the Horta's in "The Devil In The Dark" (TOS), or something?

That axiom is also referred to in "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" (DSC), too.

@ChristopherPike beat you to one, and I beat you to the other!:p

I keep forgetting that planet was first mentioned in TNG

    It was mentioned in TNG?

The Black Fleet is also referenced in a Klingon drinking song in DS9, thought you wouldn't know that without actually knowing Klingon (or looking up the lyrics online)

But yeah, the mention in DSC was specifically a reference to the book, not the song. The writers have said they took inspiration from the book. Some of the lead Klingon actors last season also read it.

Did MU Georgiou say it too? I thought it was admiral Cornwell that mentioned it. Did they also go to Klingon homeworld in the episode that put Archer on trial by Klingon court?
