I remember it. The show was on five days a week in syndication, and that episode was a chance to hear Doohan's unaccented voice. But there were 254 episodes, so it came around once a year. And that was before they stopped showing the b&w ones altogether.

Today, I saw the guy who played Dr. Whalen in The Big Goodbye (TNG), in a TV series. I was at the store though and it was the TV sets that were on the wall of TVs, so I don't know what series it was.

 

The subject is guest actors of TOS, Disco, not TNG! Sorry about that!
