PLEASE READ v.2021: Star Trek CBS All Access Spoilers

Just a reminder to those of you who are watching Discovery: There are some folks who are not watching it yet, or might be watching it more slowly than you are.

For those people, who might prefer to remain unspoiled until they watch the episodes themselves, the casual, offhanded mentions of Discovery plot elements that I've seen around the ENT forum could really mess with their attempts to stay untainted.

As a courtesy to your fellow members, please refrain from posting naked Discovery spoilers in any thread here other than the thread with the prominent "Spoiler" warning in the title. Use the spoiler tags elsewhere. Or you can head over to the DSC forum to discuss more freely.

REMINDER:

Oblique (and less than oblique) references to current Disco topics and particulars that go on for several posts eventually add up to being spoilers. STOP IT. If you want to talk about current Disco stuff, go to the Disco forum. I'M NOT KIDDING.

With the new Picard series set to debut in January 2020, please keep in mind that many of our members will not be watching the episodes live, or may watch them at a slower pace. For those members who may wish to remain unspoiled until they see the show themselves, please be courteous and DO NOT post naked Picard spoilers in any thread here. You have a whole Picard forum to play in if you wish to discuss the show, so please head over there to post spoilers.

If you post anything resembling a Picard spoiler in the ENT forum-- that includes info, references, casual mentions, ANYTHING that can be interpreted as a spoiler by your humble moderator-- who prizes staying unspoiled until she has seen a thing-- you MUST conceal it behind spoiler tags.

And when Discovery Season 3 rolls around, the same goes for that show.

I am not kidding. For anyone who flippantly ignores this directive, there will be warnings.

LOWER DECKS is launching their new season, so allow me to remind you that some of your fellow members (including your humble Moderator) may not watch new episodes right away and might wish to remain untainted until they can catch the eps on their own time. I ask that you respect their wishes and don't spoil the fun for them.

PLEASE refrain from posting naked spoilers about new episodes for SIX MONTHS following initial release. This applies to all CBS All Access shows, Short Treks, etc., when new material is made available.

Keep any spoiler behind spoiler tags. I mean the whole spoiler, folks - don't try to be cute and stick a single key word behind the spoiler tags while you fill the rest of your post with the unshielded remainder of the spoiler. CONCEAL THE WHOLE SPOILER.

Members who willfully ignore this directive should prepare for warnings. I am not kidding.

As always, I heartily recommend that in-depth discussions of CBS All Access shows be conducted in the forums dedicated to them until the six-month spoiler ban is lifted.
