^^ Hi @Bah Humbug , that image appears to be hot linked from another forum. Just to check, do you own that forum? If not, I’ll have to convert the image to a link. Thanks.
^ It's gotten a lot worse since Google inexplicably acquired the ability to tell us, on this board, what kind of images we are allowed to post.
Screw cryptocurrency mining! How can a GPU that I purchased a couple of years ago be MORE expensive than it was then even though newer versions have come out??? Oh, well. I guess that determines it. When I upgrade, it will be to an even more powerful processor and I'll skip the whole GPU rendering thing for now.
The problem with bitcoins and the likes is the lack of traceability. It makes it easy to launder drug money and helps international gangsterism.
No one gets in trouble over it here unless they ignore repeated requests to stop, which no one does. It's a courtesy to the owners of the websites the images are hosted on, because when you hotlink images from sites that don't allow it you're sapping their bandwidth. It costs them money, and if you're a smaller website it can cost you too much to continue paying for hosting. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2...-huffpo-over-images-published-sans-permission Preventing hotlinking has absolutely nothing to do with Google censoring image content on the boards in order for us to maintain advertising that keeps the board running. Two separate issues.
I have a rolling pin. I will dig out. Not sure if it’s the I use for rolling clay. It’ll do, either way. Current frustration. When a bath bomb turns out to a henna cake...

Dumb horror movies. I just watched the movie Green Room with Patrick Stewart. It was awful. So many plot holes. Spoiler: If you haven’t seen it but for some God forsaken reason want to... 1. There’s no way there’s seven 20 some year olds in a room with ONE cell phone. No way. 2. I would have stayed locked in that room until my family realized I wasn’t answering my phone. 3. No fucking way I would give a Bonehead* my gun. 4. They were on the bill, obviously if they go missing they’re gonna question the super sketchy Bonehead venue they played at. 5. The owner of the venue could have gotten away with all of it if they just called the cops in the first place and blamed the first girl’s death on the band, who had just locked themselves in a room with a hostage and an unregistered gun. 15 minutes in, problem solved, movies over. *Used “Bonehead” (slang term) because I didn’t want to trigger anyone or vear on anything political in here. Erring on the side of caution!
The problem with most horror movies is that they don't put much thought into anything other than the horror itself.
