Hey guys and gals of the TrekBBS.

    Read the title?

    Good.

Remember the Last ship I made? It's been awhile.

Watched Discovery, I liked it, liked the ship too, wanted to do a spin on it.

    Here it is:

Then I can upload this as a full 3d model

    sooo,

I love it!!! I also really love the Crossfield class itself, so hard for me to decide which I like more. But this is sweet!

You do beautiful work. It could easily be a follow-up or a massive refit of the Discovery.

Personally, I'm fine with the Crossfield class looking like the POTT "Enterprise"....more or less.

I like it. Of course, I actually preferred the "kit-bash" the Art Department put together and animated in four days for the original show announcement.

Fantastic concept! It's incredible how much better the base design looks with just a few tweaks. The cylindrical secondary hull goes a long way there.

That's a fantastic looking ship, you should give it a new registry and name, it deserves to be more than "alternate Discovery" imo.

    WHOA.
I can definately see this as a sort of refit to the original Crossfield. Very nicely done!

Thank you, also I do like the current design as well, then again I like anything done by Ralph McQuarrie.

So, does that mean you are easy to please? Or do you just hate cutouts? Either way is just prime with me, you do you Rattrap. ;)

I honestly came up with all this at 2am, wanted to bring the Crossfield Class closer to "Starfleet Standard" also known as "Man, what if the discovery looked more like the Enterprise?" Not the best thought, but it did happen at 2am.

    I got you covered bud:

Normally I would love to do that, but I really don't want redo every single text item in a single 4k texure document 5 or so different times.....so It'll do as an Alternate discovery, also halloween is dope and so is Brian Fuller.

    Now onto the beauties:

Due to the low quality of the last one, it will not be available for print. ( I might enter it in the art contest here......)
    But the 1st four are!
(Note: It's free, due to it being fan work. all you get is a pdf ready for printing 8 x 10 inches)

Yeah I made it around 2016, I lost the file and to be fair it was a monster to texture. I may bring it back one day.

Currently I'm working on the Artstation's shogunate challenge so if I re-tackle the pike for full scale vfx work it'll probably in the new year.
