She was cool in and out of Trek. The only yeoman to kick some butt. Sad loss.

She was a very kind woman. Very generous and trusting with her online communications with people she met. I donated several times to her gofundme and she was always very cordial and surprisingly open and personal in her correspondence. When her cancer went into remission I thought she had beaten it. So unfair.

Celeste was great in The Apple. Her karate was groundbreaking, especially for Star Trek, but of course it was a moment they never built upon. In all honesty, she should have been the regular instead of Chekov. When the brought Chekov in, the show already had plenty of men.

Met her at Shore Leave years ago. She was very friendly and personable.

    Still have her autograph.

In the early 80's, the Los Angeles TV show Eye on L.A. did a segment on her. She was a successful real estate agent dealing in multimillion-dollar homes, after leaving the acting biz because she couldn't get the kinds of roles she wanted.
