Amazon has three of the Typhon Pact books down to 99 cents. Hoping the others will join suit shortly . . .
I was happy to at least be able to get Brinkmanship for 99 cents (had the paperback but not the Ebook), but for the other two available reduced on Amazon USA, one I already have the Ebook, and the other I don't need. I would like to get a couple of the other ones but will be patient. BTW though Amazon Canada has ALL the TP Ebooks for 99cents now, so Canadians fyi. AND, BN .com has all TP's for 99 cents too, so Amazon USA, please get going, ok? Oh PS, now four TP Ebooks are for 99c on Amazon USA so they're getting there lol. And Desperate Hours is still $1.99, Amzn. USA and Canada, at least for now.
PS Discovery's Desperate Hours is now at its regular Ebook price, well so the Jan. 2018 Trek specials have reverted back after lingering a day or so still reduced even after Sunday, the reported deadline.
It's the only on written by a Brit, so maybe Amazon UK thinks is is worth significantly more than stuff written by the revolutionary scum.
The Vanguard series is set to be March's deals. http://www.startrekbooks.com/c/ebookpromomarch2018 Oddly Open Secrets isn't included; hopefully it will be when the sale starts. I'm friggin' pumped since these are also quite expensive currently.
Because the bean counters at the large publishers like Simon and Schuster and Penguin Random House are in business to make money and aren't always well informed or consistent with how they price things. Also, when readers willingly pay for the books no matter the price, it sort of encourages the companies to not be consistent. For example, the four Seekers series books are available on Amazon right now. #1, 3, and 4 are $6.99 each. #2 is $8.99. Why? Either clerical error which wouldn't surprise me, or S&S is thinking enough readers will accept the +$2 gouge for buying #2.
