TBH, the small size is the only thing that masks all the flaws in the regular E-E.

EDIT: Just got my Probert 1701-C. Sculpt is amazing. Looks just like Tobias Richter's model that it's based on. The lack of detail on that spot on the secondary hull is a little weird, but that spot was blank even on Eaglemoss' own prototype.

Odd thing is that the on-screen (Sternbach?) 1701-C also has a lot of bare spots. Hell, it's missing the impulse engine. Fair bit of problems with both E-C's, but I'm still stoked just to hold the Probert. It looks better in some angles (when looked from the front and below) but others (back and up) it looks IMO worse. I like having the two takes on the same ship.

Phase II 1701 is a Day 1 order from me, because I can't wait to put it between TOS and TMP versions.

I still don’t have my XL Voyager. It shipped 1/2 and the last update was 1/8 leaving New Jersey. Maybe it crashed in the snow sometime last week reenacting Timeless. I’m giving it a few more days before reporting it missing.

My regular sub of the Phoenix and Lokrim ship which mailed 1/8 shows out for delivery today but no sign of it at nearly 7pm.

Extremely frustrated with USPS lately, not just with my Eaglemoss shipments.

Right? Service has been slow since November, and I wrote it off to the holiday rush. Now, three weeks later, it should be back to normal, but if anything it’s worse than December.

Just received the Nebula class (U.S.S. Phoenix) and it was damaged. Contacted Eaglemoss and they are sending a replacement. I have about two damaged ships a year. I should do my own kitbash ship with the damaged ones!

That one in particular has had a lot of shipping damage problems for a lot of people for some odd reason.

If the "radome" fell off, that will re-attach without even using glue. I mean, I glued mine back on, but I had to give it a decent yank to get it back off to do that.

Phoenix was the most crooked ship I've had so far. I usually just live with it, but this one was so crazy I just had to wrench it apart and glue it back together. Thankfully they don't seem to use enough glue to make disassembly impossible. :)

There's a "Blue Monday" sale in the UK webshop by the way, today and tomorrow only.
A week after I ordered all that stuff, haha d'oh. Oh well. Still no sign of it arriving eithert, and reading how badly Eaglemoss is doing with deliveries lately I'm not expecting it for a while..

"Blue Monday"? Is that exclusively a UK thing? Discounts for cops?

So despite missing out on sale items as I already ordered them last week, at least my newsagents had the Enterprise Ring ship in today at last. To be fair I haven't been for a couple of weeks (didn't bother with the last issue, the Tellarite ship) and she said it came in shortly after New Year. But it's nice to have now anyway.
I know some people have complained about the lack of detail and I totally understand that, but she's still a beauty anyway. Does everyone's else middle section wobble quite a bit? Feel like I need to be extra careful with this one.

The "beautiful" USS Curry is out this Thursday, still waiting to see some subscriber pics but can't wait for it

I checked Forbidden Planet in Manchester and Liverpool (British cities). The latter has no magazines at all. The former had XL-Voyager, the XCV Enterprise, and a few Jellyfishes. Meanwhile, I snatched myself a Tellarite cruiser.

Stoked for the Curry! But who knows when it’s due. The Probert concept and XL-Voyager, purchased as soon as they were announced, haven’t arrived yet.

I had an email from eaglemoss today apologising for the delay in delivering my items. I think it’s the regular issues although I’m waiting for XL voyager and Probert Enterprise C as well. It does make my day when I see the postman has been. Maybe that would have beaten away the blues on blue Monday

I've lost track of all the stuff they're behind on for me - at least 2 specials (I think K-7, Ringship Enterprise) and 2 XL's (NX-01, Voyager). Yet they seem to be quite effective at sending me duplicates of stuff I already have in the XL line (TOS-E, E-D, E-D Plaque).

Yeah I had that e-mail too. Ordered my stuff on 5th Janaury, so it's great to know they haven't even been dispatched yet. Wow, thanks Eaglemoss.
Everyone on the Eaglemoss facebook fan page seems to have gotten it too. I mean I guess it's nice that they are at least apologising and acknowledging the problem, but good god are they a shambolic company.

They clearly have a huge backlog, so they thought "I know, let's put a Blue Monday sale on so we get even more orders in that we can't process! But who cares because we take their money straight away regardless of whether something is dispatched in 10 minutes or 10 months. And now all those who ordered before have totally lost out on this sale too" :techman:
