I built this wardrobe from a kit: It's meant to be an altered art "shrine". I'm using it for mini American Girl dolls instead. But it will be decorated!
the final form ready to play a game? is below although the images may not post again ;( I realized I had not imaged into the net so since it is still standing errr ready so I will now. then seeing that it was not an image but a posting so I took futher images and posted things.
I just found this picture of Bertie Wooster and Honoria I drew years ago when I was reading all the Jeeves and Wooster books. It makes me happy so I thought I'd share.
I built this Star Trek TOS biobed. I scanned, resized and printed the original red-brown-golden cloth from the Star Trek Continues sickbay pillow. The switch are two small beads. The rest is just cardboard and styrofoam. And spray paint, a lot of spray paint! Can’t wait to set up proper scenes.
Two things: 1. This is a spectacular amount of work and attention to detail. 2. Kirk needs a teddy bear.
Taking a fashion drawing class and we finally got to a point where we're allowed to use digital tools, so I went a big hog wild with the latest assignment. First we have the runway-ready "high fashion" design and the second is its more retail-friendly ready-to-wear compatriot.
I have taken up what is known as '5d painting'. It actually is placing resin beads onto a sticky canvas and if like like a combination of cross-stitch and paint by numbers. This is the biggest picture I have done so far. It is 40 x 50 cm and has over 26000 beads placed on it. I started it on the 6 November and finished it on 3 December
Some months ago we watched the "Shaun the Sheep" movie with my mother and she commented on how she loved the spider and wants one. We often jokingly say things like that, but I made her one for Christmas! I used an old cellulose ball from a stash that my grandfather had given me back in my East Germany childhood like 30 years ago. Some wire I had left from making the Gotham police precinct railing and the rest is Milliput. I even got a reply from Aardman for it! This is the original:
Can you render for me Ramoth, the Queen Dragon of Pern? I have good Benden marks to pay.. I await your reply
This might be the coolest thread (apart from the Cat Thread) in the whole forum. Okay, I'm going to knit something. Be grateful I don't post pictures.
When I have an idea, then I have an idea. I don't want to wait till Monday to go to the craft shop to buy supplies, it has to be done immediately or never! So today within a few hours, using colored paper that is in my stash since my childhood (seriously, original East Germany papers here) and a punch that I bought years ago, I made this flower chain. I used the fish that is the second from left, and cut off the biggest fin. Don't tell anyone... I also used little beads that are even from my mother's childhood to separate the paper snippets, otherwise I would have had to make three times as many and it was hard work as it was.
