I got lucky and they were doing one film a day on an old holiday camp cinema. Sadly I missed TMP, but it means I have seen everything between TWOK and Inssurection. Since Nemesis though, I watch on home video release...except for 2009. Admittedly, by this point I wait for everything on home video, and would have considered going to the cinema for Beyond. Nemesis and Into Darkness just didn’t hold the attraction, Insurrection was purely out of habit and off the back of Trek still being a big thing for me at that point. 2009 was basically an accidental viewing.
Last film I saw at the cinema of any kind was...Deathly Hallows part 2 I think.

All of them. I was in college when TMP came out and I've seen all of them since.

Heck, I remember watching TOS on NBC back in the day. :)

All since 79. Dressed for it in my too-small Donmoor command shirt. I was cosplay when cosplay wasn't cool.

I think I am done going to Trek movies, though.

Wasn't able to catch TWOK in theaters. Saw it instead in the library - a small showing from a VHS tape prior to us getting our own VCR. Have caught all of the films after that except ID. My wife wasn't a fan of the reboot, and I didn't feel like going on my own. Did go to see Beyond for my 50th birthday!

The first trek movie i ever saw in theater was Undiscovered Country...i can't 'remember' seeing Generations - Insurrection (doesn't mean i didn't in the theater) but i know for sure i saw Nemesis in theater. And i've seen all the newer ones as well.

Everything from TSFS forward. It was also the first Trek movie for me to see, period, and the beginning confused me. I was well-established as a TOS series fan by that time, though.

The first eight. (TMP at the Fox in center-city Philadelphia, demolished 2 months later; TWoK on premiere day in Hempstead, Long Island, of all places.)

None since - either the old or new movie series - so the last time I bought a ticket to see Star Trek was 21 years ago.

All but Nemesis. I wasn't going to see Insurrection at all, but a friend took me to see it. I should have said no.

The last three. I became a fan just before Insurrection but I had no friends to go with.
And Nemesis had so much bad reviews I skipped It

I was in college when I went to see Nemesis. I went with some friends. The theater was only half-full... on opening night! All the other films, the theater was full.

Except for TFF. I saw that at a second-run theater, during the daytime in the dead of summer, so it wasn't quite the same thing (though I suspect the theater wasn't exactly full on opening weekend either). I was 10, my uncle used to watch Star Trek when he was growing up in Iran and wanted to go see it, my mother was like, "You like Star Trek right?" I kind of shrugged, and my brother and I went with him to see it anyway... and yeah, that's not the movie that "converted" me.

That didn't happen until a year-and-half later when my mother bought TVH on video around the beginning of 1991. We didn't have a VCR until 1990. So, my parents put it on and I was in my room doing something else. They started laughing a whole bunch. Then I overheard my father say he couldn't believe I wasn't into this. So, I went into the living room to see what the big deal was about... and the rest is history.

On December 7th, 1979, I convinced my mom to pick me up at lunch break, because I planned to cut afternoon classes in high school to go see it. I talked my best friend into doing the same, and we both went in that morning feeling a little twitchy. We got in to homeroom before classes to learn that the day would have an unscheduled early dismissal, and that we'd be getting out at 11:00am anyway. My mom picked us up looking around in wonder at all the cars and buses while we slipped out the side door as planned. "You see, Mom, it is a holiday!"

So from The Motion Picture to Beyond, I've seen every movie on opening day. My best friend saw the first two with me, before we both found other best friends in college, and my mom and I saw the first three together until poor health held her back. In the nineties, I'd schedule opening day for the next Trek movie for vacation time months in advance as a "religious holiday."

The Motion Picture remains my favorite, although there are things I love about them all, but nothing beats those first moments of any brand-new Trek film when the Paramount logo appears and those familiar opening notes send an electric chill up and down my spine. I've been blessed to share those brief escapes with friends and family many times over the years, and while I think Trek is at its best on television, I'm hoping for many more times in years to come.

Good call on adding the "number of times" metric!

I was too young for many of the TOS movies to see more than once, but here we go:

    TWOK (once)
    TSFS (once)
    TVH (once)
TFF (twice- also my first opening night experience...never missed an opening since)
    TUC (twice)
    GEN (four)
    FC (four)
    INS (twice)
    NEM (three)
    2009 (six)
    ID (twice)
BEY (twice, second time was my first time enjoying a Trek movie at the theater with my young son!)

Seen all of them in cinemas since Generations, though Star Trek '09 is the only one I've seen more than once while it was still in cinemas.
