Great eps, both. Really like the chemistry between Geordi and Ro Laren in Next Phase.

Should have stopped while they were ahead on quality Holodeck episodes.

That's for the recommendation. It sounds like an interesting premise for a podcast; I'm going to check it out.

Remember Me (TNG) - Beverly episodes usually aren't that great, but this is a pretty fun episode. I always get a chuckle out of the "Jean-Luc, there's something I have to tell you..." running gag.

DS9-The Way of The Warrior. Continuing my DS9 series rewatch, I've reached season 4. The Way of the Warrior feels like a pilot, the Klingon threat is portrayed very seriously, and the producers pulled no punches giving the viewer some impressive action scenes. I liked Worf's arc in this story and the early relationship between him and Sisko as pupil/mentor showed potential.

DS9-Indiscretion. Dukat and Kira rescue Ziyal from the Breen, who look a lot like Princess Leia's bounty hunter disguise from Return of The Jedi.

Sorry, Worked "Jedi" day in and day out during it's original theatrical release in 1983. That scene is burned into my head.
    DS9 "Paradise Lost" on H&I.
    Great second part to "Homefront"
    ENT "The Crossing" on H&I.
Interesting episode "Can't ever trust them 'non corporal' beins"

Fun elements, but flawed. Kahless was probably the worst Klingon portrayal I've ever seen, but I can forgive it for his being based on flawed human perceptions of Klingons. This also seems to be one of the biggest influences (read, targets) on Futurama's "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" parody.

I actually just made a thread about this episode on the TOS forum to gauge member opinions about it.

    "Honor Among Thieves" - DS9
    "Change of Heart" - DS9

DS9 is so damn consistent. Honor Among Thieves was a fantastic O'Brien episode. Not the most original concept, but all of the acting, in particular Colm Meaney and the guy who plays Bilby is outstanding. A fun little spy story. Excellent.

And NOW I understand why people love the Jadzia/Worf relationship. That long dialogue scene in the shuttle was so well-written. This episode established their relationship better than any ep previously. This could have and should have been a much earlier episode, maybe even preceding their marriage. Then I would've been on board with them from the beginning.

I'm so close to In the Pale Moonlight, I can taste it. Never seen it but its reputation is inescapable. Looking forward to it.

Balance of Terror on All Access - a classic, I don't think I could ever get tired of this one.

Legacy on DVD - I liked that Ishara didn't follow in her sister's footsteps. A solid episode.

"In the Pale Moonlight" - DS9

Tonight was my first time seeing this episode. I knew the outcome just through cultural osmosis. But knowing what happens didn't lessen the gut punch this episode delivers. I almost feel like the blood drained out of my limbs. It's such a deeply disturbing and frightening episode. I mean, I loved every minute of it and I love what it does to Sisko, Garak, the Federation, Star Trek, the "Roddenberry Vision" (). This is a brave, honest episode. There's no easy out, no clever maneuver or high morals to rescue the heroes. No Picard speech to set everything right again. It's honest. This episode is a masterpiece.

I still can't get my head around a turbolift freefalling on a space station. Just seems silly.
What Odo does to stop it makes me think he should try out to be a member of the Fantastic Four.
    ENT "Judgement" on H&I.
J.G. Hertzler returns as a different Klingon, an aged advocate to defend Captain Archer. In a corrupt court where everyone is guilty until proven innocent. And nobody is proven innocent. Great episode.

Episodes like this one are why Garak is my favorite character on this show.

"Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" Part of my DSC re-watch. Episodes get better on the second viewing, I think. I'm really enjoying it the second time though.

I also watched TMP last night with my kids. My two boys (3 and 6) love TMP. I think the music and the visuals really hook them. Again...I've seen TMP more times than I could count right now, and it just seems to get BETTER every time I watch.
