It's very confusing. Maybe he has no problem because he thinks stealing from a Big Corporation isn't wrong. But, it seems incredibly hypocritical.

true. I'm being overly polite. And I haven't heard Jenkins's side explaining how he would resolve that contradiction. So.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, i;m sorry -- Axanar Productions? He named his production company after the very thing that got him in so much trouble?

Or was this before the shat hit the fan? Either way, even if before, the name should have been changed.

    How about: Motion Peters Productions?
Or: Alec Broadcasting Company? Which can be called "ABC" for short.

    Alec at http://startrekauction.blogspot.com/2017/12/jj-trek-at-auction.html :

PropWorx bankrupted while doing Stargate auctions for MGM. No way would Trek come to him for Discovery.

irony (def): the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.

    Context shopping.

many people (def 1): a large number of people. (def 2): the majority of people.

A large number of atoms think their dust speck is the only place in the universe for them, and that their mote is the only real dust speck.

making (def 1): the process of making or producing something.

Huh. So the greatest satisfaction comes from being in the process, not completing.

Such writing skills. All completely true in one or another context, and all taken differently depending what internal state you wish to attribute to the speaker and the events.

Here's a concept for Axanar to bring to the big screen:

    http://weaseltrek.com/

Another concept in the same genre, taking advantage of this writing skill: Garth turns out to be the worst Starfleet officer ever, but exhibits a Khan-like mental ability.... the ability in own mind to endlessly weasel out of facts that contradict his narrative.

Comixology just added a whole bunch of Paul Jenkins Marvel comics today. I'm pretty sure it's just a coincidence, but I still found it kind of ironic given everything that's going on with him. Maybe they want to give him as big a source of income as possible before his involvement with Axanar destroys his career.

Someone should ask him if he would have a problem with his work ending up on a torrent site or something. I would be curious to see if the cognitive dissonance continues.

The journey of a thousand miles starts with but a single Bridge piece. Some journeys take longer than others. This journey also requires a shit-ton of money.

Actually, Alec first formed “Axanar Productions” as a Nevada domestic stock corporation way back in May 2012 (interestingly right around the same time that he bankrupted Propworx 1.0). He reincorporated AP as a California domestic stock corporation in 2015. Allegedly he began writing his first attempts at a script back in 2011 so we will soon be entering year 8 of this debacle.

To be fair, Christopher Nolan took about 10 years to write Inception. Time is not a measure of script quality. A crappy script leaked to the the community is a measure of script quality, but time is not.

Also to be fair, Inception is a far more complex concept than Axanar ever was.

And yet, only twenty minutes of film to show for it. Twenty minutes, coincidentally, is the same run-rime of a Sit-Com sans commercials.

Or, as it was stated by them, an ad for their long term product line. The Popeil Garth-O-Matic, with bonus Inside-the-Shell Donation Scrambler.
