I'm actually quite happy with the first two episodes. I'm looking forward to the second half. :techman:

Yeah, remains to be seen if there are Kryptonians/Kryptonite on Earth-1.

Wells (or someone) mentions there are 52 other Supergirls. Unless the Earth-1 version is living a peaceful existence in hiding somewhere there's only 51.

Their mission to retrieve a Supergirl led them to the only Earth where there isn't one in residence, I guess. Though I suppose Reverse Flash + the "We've been watching you..." fills that out enough.

I guess Stretchy wasn't invited to the wedding. Wells' daughter probably got an invite, but I assume she just decided to keep her distance from Wally.

Per my post in the Legends thread:

Aaaaaaa I don't want it to stop! I wish they were showing all four parts back to back!

This is amazing. Full-on crossover from the start, lots of character intermixing. So many huge, intense scenes in Part 1, both character-driven and action-driven. So many great lines. Kara singing "Running Home to You." And the surprise cameos. Guardian-X is Captain America and/or The Shield! Tommy Merlyn is Prometheus-X! And lots of big action sequences. I particularly appreciated the construction-site rescue sequence -- I always like a rescue scene better than a fight scene. Although it's hard to believe Green Arrow could help hold a building up just by wrapping a bunch of ziplines around the girders.

My main disappointment is that they didn't have the time, budget, or room to include even more. They keep having to contrive ways to leave people out, like Wally taking Joe and Cecile to safety at the end of part 1, or Cisco being knocked out in part 2, or the rest of the Legends just haring off to the Stone Age offscreen for no clear reason. The biggest oversight so far is that they haven't addressed Sara's reaction to Thawne's latest, inexplicable return. At this point, he's as much her archnemesis as the Flash's.

But it was a nice surprise when Team Arrow showed up to fight Dark Arrow. "They wanted to wait, but I don't think we've ever had a better intro line." And it looks like they'll be playing an important role tomorrow.

And we sure got what many of us were hoping for with Sara and Alex -- and then some. Heck, I was expecting them to flirt for four episodes and maybe share a kiss at the end. I was dreaming too small.

Is Part 2 the first Arrow episode (technically) that takes place entirely in Central City (aside from the tag scene on Earth-X)?

For the second question, I assume he learned it from Barry. As for the first, no idea.

That would make sense, since he and the Legion of Doom tried to help the Nazis on Earth-1 last season.

Harry said there are 52 other Kryptons too. Maybe in some of those universes, Krypton never exploded and Kal-El and Kara are living out peaceful lives there. Although if Krypton-1 never exploded, there'd be no kryptonite on Earth. But maybe Oliver found a way to create synthetic kryptonite, as Max Lord attempted to do in season 1 of Supergirl (resulting in the creation of red K).

Yeah, that's why I thought the reason might be she either never got off the planet or was in hiding. Synthetic is certainly possible.

I wonder if Oliver has pulled a Batman and has secretly devised ways to counter all his friends.

The kryptonite on his Arrow seemed off, it was dull. While kryptonite in Supergirl is usually a lot more shiny

Overgirl or whatever evil supergirl’s name is, she’s sick because she flew too close to the sun, which seems to be a nod towards that superman story where he did the same.

Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's All-Star Superman. I caught that too.

But the question is, how did Overgirl fly close to the Sun? Supergirl's first-season finale established that Kryptonians can't fly in space without an atmosphere to push against. But maybe Overgirl was in her Kryptonian pod at the time? Which raises the next question -- Why was she flying near the Sun? How does that benefit the Fatherland or the Reich or the Fuhrer?

Hmm. I wonder if we'll find out tomorrow who the Fuhrer of Earth-X is. Two guesses: either it'll be some surprise doppelganger of an Arrowverse character (Damien Darhk? Malcolm Merlyn? Martin Stein?), or they'll drop hints implying that it's Trump.

I was thinking Darhk throughout the show but the preview leads us to believe it's Quentin Lance

Captions said "Overgirl" and "Dark Arrow" - which made me laugh that Earth-X Oliver would call himself that.

I don't remember if it was used in dialogue.

I should start watching Legends because of Heatwave. So far he’s the Star, close to an hour into this event. Also the church fight scenes were incredible.

I will be the only one to say this cause most here wont. But this is the worse cross over ive ever seen and im so sick of the pussafaction of all the males on these shows and how they turn a show about super hero's into a platform for gay agenda and male bashing. I dont not give a dam about any of their dam relationships, i watch the Arrow,Flash, Legends of Tomorrow for the super hero stories not to see Oliver boo hoo and the rest of the cause they are either single or got hurt. I mean WTF DC. I want strong male leads, i want less relationship bullshit and male bashing.
When Alex made that statement about how one night stands are a male thing. Im like what the fuck. Im so sick of CW shows just bashing men and make these shows about woman power.
Iris is awlful, Felicity telling Oliver to respect her wishes, no bitch how about you respect his?
Honestly i hate to rant but im just done with these CW shows and thank god Agents of Shield is comeing back on cause i cant takes these shows anymore.
To whom ive offended here, im sorry. But im sick of the whole woman power bullshit on these shows anymore. No guy can be strong, they have to be made weak to make the women look good.

I had the opposite reaction. This was better than anything I've seen on Supergirl, Legends, or Arrow all season.
