Got the ships I mentioned above, and got the notice that the Kazon Raider, USS Titan, and K-7 will come next week. Six ships in two weeks!

I went for the TAS ship, I'm really curious as to whether they'd make it in an 'animated' style or not...

Anyone gotten their glow-in-the-dark Defiant magazine yet? Haven't heard or seen anything anywhere on Teh Interwebz.
Like with hard outlines and a posterized color palette? Hmmm... I would kind of doubt that. I'm thinking they'll likely give it the TOS palette and make it look like the Enterprise got squeezed in a vice (or Apollo really did a number on it with his "hand").

Slightly OTT, but I received my USCSS Nostromo. It’s sized like a special/XL ship but surprisingly lightweight. Packaging and stand are like The Starships Collection’s.
There’s no magazine as such but 2 flyers. One verifies this is one of 3000 models made.
Exclusivity is irrelevant to me, but it makes me wonder whether that means they’ll produce no more of it once it’s out of stock.

I saw a post on Twitter implying there might be more ships if Nostromo sells well.

They've said they'll do the Sulacco from Aliens next at least. But yeah I don't see the point of only doing 3000, if they all sell don't they want any more money? Although actually looking at Eaglemoss over the years, and with last weekend's website crash, they probably don't.

The Enterprise XCV-33 Ring ship Special Issue is available to preorder now on the UK site btw! £29.99
It says "Available for delivery 21st December"

I'm willing to bet there's gonna be some unhappy folk on the interwebs who won't get it in time for Chirstmas! I'm actually gonna hold off, I'm weary of all the stories of people who pre-ordered the last special, the K7, and never recieved it for aaages, way after it's shop date (as it had gone out of stock... even though they'd preordered it... so you think they'd get first dibs... that's Eaglemoss for you)
Both the shops I go to that sell the collection also sell the specials, so I'm just gonna hope I can nab one there.

It’s available on the US website as well now. $49.95 and ships by 1/25/18.

Hmm. I just realized that they never announced any alternate version of the NX-01 from E2*(squared). I want that one too, I'll have to tweet Ben.

Got an email over the weekend saying that they were sending a "replacement" glow-in-the dark Defiant, which is strange, as I don't recall there being any problems with it, nor did I call them to replace it. Could this be a notice of them shipping the magazine? If so, this is kind of weird as they sent no email to me about the Titan magazine. Anyone else get this who got the Defiant?

Still waiting on the next XL model in my subscription - the NX-01, as well as the K-7 special. I don't hope to see the ringship Enterprise special until spring of 2018, at this point.

I got the same email & my Defiant is fine, though I’m also missing the magazine. I’m not sure they’ve actually shipped anything though, I can see packages through the USPS informed delivery app & my regular subscription package is the only thing out there.

with the XCV enterprise on its way, i'm sort of curious what are everyone's thoughts here about this one?

though i opted out of K-7, that one at least tempted me, this one feels like a hard pass.

    Out there. Thatta way.
It looks huge. Too huge, unless you're collecting the XL ships. Also, not sure it should have "USS" on it given that the design "predates" NX-01.

I mean, these are the people that dropped the "J" on the NCC-1701-J because it was missing on the model. You'd think they'd be consistently anal about this stuff.

yeah they have a strange relationship to canon. they didn't put the thunderchild's name over her registry because it wasn't present on the ILM asset, despite that being a clear mistake. but now we're seeing a whole slew of barely canon designs being produced (the best of both world starships in pristine condition, the NX-01 refit, now this). i might be interested in the XCV as a standard size model, but i have no attachment to this design and can't imagine spending $50 for it. this feels like a waste of special slot.

Back in the early days of Enterprise, so many "fans" MOANED that the NX-01 wasn't the ringship Enterprise from 10 seconds of TMP, they probably felt like they HAD to make one.

I’m glad they removed the black bars from the outside of the rings.

And it’s “USS” Enterprise because it’s an US-American ship. Howdy, cowboy! Yee-Haa! :bolian:

    It should be Yee-Haw. ;)

Called Eaglemoss to see if I could start the jumbo subscription at Voyager issue 5 & was informed the 1st issue goes out automatically and can’t be skipped. I could skip issues after that but it would mean large gaps of time because you can’t accelerate the schedule. I’d have to wait the 10 months or whatever it would be for issue 5 to be dispatched. Decided to just keep buying them individuallly.

Jumbo Voyager does show available to purchase on the jumbo US store so I’ll see how that works.

That ringship is gorgeous. And unless I miss my guess, it's the Mark Rademaker version.

Ordered the glow-in-the-dark Defiant (TOS), Klingon K'Tinga, Romulan Bird-of-Prey and the Stargazer.

Any word on if they're planning to do the Phase II Enterprise?

I've always been a sucker for ringships.
