I always thought that bulk was a trait of the Daedalus. Otherwise, it'd be a different class of starship.
UPDATE... Getting some more work done on the textures for the Deadalus. Right now it’s just roughed in I will be toning it down. I also have to rework the spec map on the back of the hull. I also might redo the maps on the warp engines because I’m not happy with parts of them.

UPDATE... Started to texture the launch bay door. I still have a few minor adjustments to do but they are done for the most part.
UPDATE... Finished up the textures on the sphere so as far as I’m concerned I’m done. I’ll do some orthos in a few days. I do realize I never made any beam weapons for this. Oh well, I’ll just pretend I did. UFP textues. UESN textures [FONT=Trebuchet][COLOR=rgb(152, 158, 174)] [/COLOR][/FONT]
Wow, this looks great. One minor suggestion for an added bit of authenticity; Number the missile tubes in the even=port, odd=starboard manner that the US Navy does. (Example.)
It's ok for now. Maybe I'll do it at a later date but for now it's done. Meant to do this yesterday but didn’t get the chance. Don’t know what’s going on with the bottom of the spheer or the place where the pylons and warp engines connect. I’ll take a look at it later.
