Mannix. I'll bet Leslie Parrish herself suggested re-using the dress.

Does anyone know the title without looking it up?

I don't remember the title but it's one of the season one "Intertect" episodes. It has come up here a few times before.

BTW, (and off topic) I saw Peter Lupus in 'Muscle Beach Party' recently. It was 1964, and he was officially billed under the name "Rock Stevens." :cardie:

Yeah, I guess at that point he must have still felt like his Greek name wasn't mainstream-sounding enough for American audiences.

Speaking of Greek... Michael Forest of "Who Mourns for Adonais" previously played the title character in Roger Corman's 1961 masterpiece Atlas.

I don't know how popular this movie was at the time, or if audiences watching Star Trek would have made a connection between his mythical character in Atlas and his role as Apollo.

De Kelley was something of a matinee idol for a while before his star fizzled. Not sure what went wrong.

Thinking of Kelley in all the western roles he had reminded me of a story I read which is retold on another forum (http://www.bonanzaboomers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15453).

Amazon Prime now has Movin' On for streaming, which is an unexpected blast from my early childhood. The first episode had a twofer of Michael J. Pollard and Elisha Cook Jr. They were in the same scenes but their faces weren't in the same shot.

And there's Pollard on a 1964 episode of The Lucy Show that Decades is showing as I type this.

Catching some Lucy Show in the background, I can see where Trek being produced by Desilu could have gone horribly wrong. Imagine if you dare "Spock Discovers Wayne Newton."

Fortunately, I have the sound down.

Caught William Schallert as a clerk in Some Came Running, starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Shirley MacLaine. I know Schallert is in everything, so it's not really surprising, but I guess this is further evidence that he's really in everything.

That's an outstanding movie, by the way.

On MeTV, I just caught an episode of 77 Sunset Strip with DeForest Kelley in a major guest role and Grace Lee Whitney in a minor one. The main female guest star was Cloris Leachman. I searched this thread for 'Sunset Strip' but no one seems to have mentioned it before. The episode according to IMDB is "88 Bars," 1 November 1963.
