Considering the comparisons with Game of Thrones and its more mature rating.

A bat'leth decapitation is quite on the cards.

Finally. Honestly, it's been hard watching the actors try to fight with that weapon *without* doing any of those.

Apparently more violent and grisly than "Hannibal," since that show only got a TV-14 in its over-the-air broadcast form.

In Discovery, Klingons will be terribly cruel and make their fellow Klingons whom they disapprove of wear wigs. It'll be horrific.

My TV listings lists the first 2 episodes as "TV-14" (I'm in Canada) if that can be trusted as accurate.

In the trailers we see a group of them stomping the crap out of one poor individual.

Probably more violent than we've seen before. I doubt there'll be any rape scenes or similar, but decapitation by Bat'leth does sound likely.

    I'm bored of klingons.

I'll be less bored if they aren't insecure bar drunks with masculinity issues. They can be as violent as the writers please :)

it depends if the writers want to go the Game of thrones blood-wise way or not..

As one of the characters of Discovery is a former POW of the Klingons iirc, maybe the rating could also be related to some flashback scenes, which may occur now and then.

I love the original Klingons of TOS and I am sad that the makers of this show are not allowed to use them or their likenesses! :weep:

The impression I get from the.video's is that they have gone from Viking Warriors to monsters. Not sure I will like that if it is true, though it might make for some intense action scenes. Like many things I wonder will their will be any sense of fun with them because Klingons do have a humorous side to them with the bad manners and getting drunk and the scheming. Klingon politics has been one of the more fun things to them since they were reinvented for TNG and I like how honor was something that defines their culture but also something that many of them don't really live up to.

My guess is that they will slowly and gleefully disembowel people by hand regularly. Like literally every 5-7 minutes. And the camera will capture every moment of it.
