It isn't that easy when he is planning to try to get another $200k out of people to actually finally do axanar.... or go to a sushi bar instead.

Problem is LFIM isn't a producer or a director or an actor or a writer.

You'll never be a writer until you understand why your epic story is little more than a random collection words. You'll never be an Exec until you learn how to bring all the proper elements into place to produce your chosen project. You'll never become an Actor until you understand the character, transform into it and convey those emotions to the audience.
So who doesn't fail their first few times out? Except for Audrey, who nailed her 1st acting role (Captain cuteness).
The question is, what you do with that failure? Do you take all that criticism, do a deep self evaluation and learn to correct them? Or do you simply resort to calling everyone haters, threatening lawsuits and surrounding yourself with yes people, some possibly afraid to speak out and suffer the wrath for doing so.
The great LFIM created all this contempt because he never learned to listen.

Looks like the document dump for axanar has started. Financials and the SFX looks to have been uploaded. and from the SFX as I'm sure comes as no shock, the Ares is the most powerful ship in the federation able to leap tall buildings with a single bound.

I smell a comic book backstory of the Ares, including its mild mannered alter ego-Alec Peters :D

AxaMonitor's summary of the "Axanar Disaster" website launched by former CTO Terry McIntosh with its release of never-before-disclosed Axanar data about financials, unaccounted for revenue, VFX footage and more. Read more »

I looked at the site and read Terry's deposition. I noticed that looking at the media requires bit-torrent to view. I, for one, am uncomfortable using any kind of bit-torrent software on my PC. Will there be a way to view this material without bit-torrent?

Bit-torrent itself is fine, as long as you use a reputable client (so you don't get malware or virus's just from installing the software).
It's not a bad idea to get Malware Bytes or Webroot before putting that kind of thing on your computer.

    Likely not. The article said:
So, pretty much a way to get around any unnecessary litigious entanglements.

Oh, not I didn't mean to lump Carlos in with the people going to far. I've actually been impressed with how well he's handled things, even when Alec has started attacking him. I actually find it kind of funny, because it just makes Alec look worse.

This is true, but I can almost certainly say this has nothing to do with Axanar or LFIM

I didn't realise this had happened! Is there a thread or link about it?

I remember seeing pictures a few months back of studio repairs but thought it was them getting back on their feet after their flood damage.

I saw that on FB the other day. Vance is an awesome guy, and I am disappointed that happened to him.
