This exactly. This is particularly important for productions that exist solely on the good will of their cast and crew. It doesn't have to be expensive food either, just good and nourishing.
I am working on a larger production this week..........we get a great breakfast at 0530...........and I was shocked we had swordfish yesterday for lunch. Makes the 12-13 hour days much nicer.
Wow, that's pretty nice. One of our guys is kind enough to make chicken and rice, and quorn and rice and some cakes and other stuff. And he does it for cost which is really nice of him. It makes a massive difference when you feed your cast.
I feel kinda bad saying this because I am a fan of the show, but Pacific 201's shiny white "look" is far more appealing to me than Discovery's grimdark hulls.
Not a lot of diversity on the cast it seems... but I remain intrigued, and might have missed some castings...
Here is a new teaser trailer for Pacific 201. Looks good, but we will have to wait until next year to see it.
Another trailer of starship porn. Snore. Wake me when there are human beings involved in a meaningful fashion.
And here's another trailer of starship porn: Edit: Is the actor playing Captain Picard the same guy from Starship Intrepid? To be fair this is just a teaser trailer, yet we still got to see most of the senior bridge crew working together through a crisis situation. That's kind of meaningful. But I do get what you are saying, at this stage in the production I too would like to see more of the crew and a little less of the ship.
Nah, it's not them working together. No one is interacting, It's generic cut and paste bridge dialog. Shields this and phasers that.
