Didn't we see a Worf in the background when Picard Prime responded he matched the quantum signature?

I don't remember, but if that was the case maybe a different Worf was drawn into the Prime universe when Prime Worf drifted out.

    Yeah he did, here:

PICARD [on viewscreen]: Captain, it would that we have found the quantum signature you are looking for.
RIKER: Data believes that by sending Worf back through the fissure again, it would return us all to our proper realities.

Maybe that particular ship didn't really have the same quantum signature as Worf based on this dialogue:

DATA: For any event, there is an infinite number of possible outcomes. Our choices determine which outcomes will follow. But there is a theory in quantum physics that all possibilities that can happen, do happen in alternate quantum realities.

This would include the possibility of human or mechanical error when determining they had the same quantum signature as prime reality Worf. Then Worf was able to get back to his reality without having the right shuttlecraft because the data in that universe was mistaken as well about how all that worked.

+1 I took the undrstanding he was switching places and sort of reboot the native worf into another quantum reality.. He was the one from the quantum signature which was sorted at the end and in each shift initiated by Geordis visor he switched places and that worf would have also been disoriented in the next tine line as personnel and ranks changed . even a different EntD

That is definitely how the episode plays out in many ways...but the problem I have with that is how they show that happening...or better yet, how they don't show that.

If I was standing there talking to Worf all I would see is Worf getting dizzy for a moment. I would not see Worf move out of the universe we were in together and I would not see another Worf come into our universe. From my view it would be the same Worf.

Not sure what you mean here. My version is the worf thats causing the problem is the one thats replaced the one standing next to the officers. He also initiates all surrounding events. IE Worf bounces worf from eating with colleagues the worf that was eating with colleagues is bounced to another reality and while not shown that person would simply be clueless to events but know that the universe is different however slightly. This is kind of shown with the Batleth Tournament. Worf would find - no matter which one- an inconsistency starting from that event. (Placed first coming in but later checks record to find different result) i ses whats being said is that you dont see alot of the transitions well.. But i think understandable given time limit of show. Other good quantum time shifts shown more in Cause and Effect. That one perhaps a bit better spelled out in terms of replaying key events.. But after one or 2 EntD destructions you kind of say... Come on! But another goodie

Which part did I know? It honestly happens so little, I get surprised. lol

I'll assume it was the Worf/Troi relationship stuff. I just never could understand what she saw in him beyond that he was there. It's not that Worf is a bad guy necessarily, but he seemed all wrong for her, aggressive, narrow-minded at times, rather closed off emotionally, a very begrudging father to his kid. Does any of this sound like someone Troi would want to get lovey with? It made her seem hard up or desperate, like there was no one else around to set her up with. Help the lady out. At least give her some motivation & backstory for WHY Worf suddenly seems like a good fit

Well, there are those episodes like "Ethics", "Cost Of Living", and "Fistful Of Datas" where Worf and Troi's friendship is shown as deepening. As a viewer I was wondering "wait, do they have more chemistry than I noticed before, could those two have something more going on?" before they started dealing with it more directly in "Parallels" and "Eye Of The Beholder."

The relationship on the show works for me because the characters seem to be in the exact same frame of mind. "Wait, what is this vibe we have, should we be exploring this?" Then they did and came to the realization that, no, they aren't really compatible that way, they are close but their intimacy is the intimacy of close friends, not romantic partners.

That to me is a very relateable story. Sometimes you do just give it a try with that close friend you've been around forever -- you're both available and suddenly something happens that makes you wonder, have I just missed the potential here all this time? And then often you find, as Worf & Troi did, that there was a reason you were friends and not a couple.

So, boredom, random fumbling & lack of options... I guess there's been worse things to start a relationship on. lol

I like how they kind of put hints and kind of suggest it without an actual "bringin it on in the bedroom" episode. Clearly towards the end not to mention the biggest hint of all in All Good Things I cant remember the exact way that one goes but both Riker and Worf have some "air" that wasnt cleared in that version. I also like how worf tip toes around it n Eye of Beholder and the funny play when Troi thinks she sees Worf messing around with another chick there. I wonder if its been explored more in novel?

I thought the Riker deal was kind of closed after the one Second Chances episode i think its called when theres 2 Rikers on the ship Watching your double get more action than u HAHA. But doesnt he full on hickey her in Genesis biting his "mate"

We're overthinking it. She once heard the phrase "Klingons around Uranus" From that point on, she couldn't get Worf out of her mind.
