Finished Force Unleashed 2 a couple of days ago and started on Tales from the Borderlands, I'm currently near the end of Episode 2 and really enjoying it.

Just giving the demo of Resident Evil Revelations a try (PC version). I think the last time I played any Res Evil game was either the first or second.

Ostensibly I'm playing Fallout 4, but for a break I fired up Gwent...and I got hooked. So, mostly Gwent.

It's quite different than in Witcher 3. I've mostly been playing a Monsters consume deck, and it does okay. There's a nasty Skellige deck that regularly kicks my butt, and the Nilfgaard reveal deck's hard to defend against.

Just finished the DLC "Left Behind" for The Last of Us. It was my first time playing the DLC as I wanted to get to the right moment in the story before starting it, so I needed to finish the University Campus section on my 2nd play-through of the game. I thought it was one of the most impressive DLC's in a game to date. I wish they had done a prequel one for Joel/Tess as well.

She is better than you with the puzzles, isn't she. (I know the feeling.)

We have different tactics, given there's no punishment for being wrong I will just attack it until I see the solution. Kathy likes to look and go through it logically until she sees it before making a move.

So a week or so ago I decided I'd go and play every Sierra adventure game in chronological release order. Got through all of the AGI games (some of which I'll revisit when I get to their VGA remakes) started going through the EGA SCI games, and came to Codename: ICEMAN, which I'd never played before. Started out ok with the Tahiti and Pentagon stuff, then got to the sub, and HOLY SHIT IS THIS GAME AWFUL. They basically stuck a tedious as hell, no margin for error submarine piloting simulator in the middle of an adventure game and it just goes on and on and on and on... After the third piloting sequence I said fuck it and watched the rest of the game on YouTube, fast forwarding through all of the boring shit (and boy was there a lot of it.) I've also never seen a game with so many copy protection checks that force you to consult the manual. If you're a fan of old Sierra games but never checked this one out, avoid it like the plague. Easily the worst Sierra adventure I've ever played.

I also ended up watching all of Gold Rush (which I'd also never played before) on YouTube since it's not available on any abandonware sites, and I found it interesting that you could get to California via three different routes, as it's essentially a precursor to what Fate of Atlantis later did with its three different paths that comprised the middle portion of the game.

Still playing Elite: Dangerous, and winning! :D
I just upgraded my ship to an Orca class passenger liner. She holds 32 economy class, and 4 luxury class passengers.

    The IMC Palomino. ♥

Yes indeed, that was the inspiration for my name, although a Palomino is a beautiful, and fast, thoroughbred. Ah well, all good things come to an end, as I have made a massive upgrade. Meet the IMC Lunar Sea, a Beluga Class passenger liner, more than 200 meters long, 130 meters wide, and 40 meters high. I can haul over a hundred passengers, and many tons of cargo. I have the jump range up to 17ly at a time, but I'm working to build on that. She's still the ultimate in travel and tourism. :D

Thank you, and she certainly is a beautiful ship. Honestly, I play this game far more than STO now. I don't think I've cracked open that game since I got this one. This feels like I'm really traveling through space, where I can fly deep into the black, far from civilization. I traveled 25,000 light years from the "Bubble" (where most of the civilizations inhabit star systems) to Colonia, a colony on the other side of the galaxy. It took me an actual 5 1/2 days to get there in real time. It was amazing.

I played Elite for several weeks when it first came out and even brought a proper joystick n throttle for it. It was fun but also tedious as hell and the game was still finding it's feet back then. I went on a 8,000 ly trip to explore and map systems to bring the data back and if I was ever to log in, I would still be about 6,000 ly away from the nearest system though I guess the colonies could of expanded since then.

The bubble is about 1500 light years across. Colonia is 25,000 light years out, and then there's Beagle Point, which is no less than 65,000 light years away. I haven't been to Beagle Point, yet. Civilization in the game has been expanding, and you can also land on planets and moons now. For example, as seen here, when I landed at Mitterand Hollow, the moon which orbits its planet twice a minute:

It's only getting better, too. With 2.4, the Thargoids are coming. 3.0 is where they're revamping a great many core features, to allow for greater flexibility (I'm hoping space legs, so I can walk on surfaces and in ships).
