Did we ever see any Klingon shuttlecraft in TOS? Were there any shown in any of the series or movies? I can't remember any, maybe shuttles had no honor?
Not even a mention, but then the Klingons were only in... 6, I think, TOS episodes, and very few of those included circumstances where a shuttle might appear (maybe Kras had one hidden away on Capella?).
Ships were rare in TOS. More so pre TOS-R. Klingons didn't even have a ship until season 3 and even then it's first appearance was as a Romulan ship.
The Enterprise encountered a Klingon Warship (a glowing corner of a triangle or the like) in Friday's Child although The Klingon (Kras) down on the surface of Capella told Kirk that the vessel was a small scoutship! I suppose that's the closest we get to a Klingon shuttle in the original series! JB

Shuttles are for weaklings. A true Klingon would beat the vacuum of space into submission and slice the solar winds with his bat'leth, tearing his way to his destination in glorious battle!

Yeah, "bird of prey" is a mistranslation. The full Klingon is "chi'Qen" means "bird of praying that they don't see us!"
On the K'Tinga class ships seen in TMP, pretty sure there is a designated shuttlebay area, and I think the D7 would have that feature as well, so arguably a Klingon shuttle was at least implied if never actually seen.
I think there was a Klingon shuttle in tng episode gambit part 2. Well it was a shuttle, and it had a Klingon in it.
Well, when you consider they might have Bird-of-Prey type ships in the TOS era, then they might not have the need for a shuttlecraft, because the ship itself could land. Just a thought.
They had BOP type ships in ENT, so there must have been something similar in the TOS era, we just didn't see them. Us TOS grognards are not blinkered, we just know what we like and what we dont. This is the TOS section of these forum so why are you so surprised if it has many TOS fanatics on it. I fail to understand why it is so surprising that "sequels" that vary wildly from the originals in many ways and places are criticised and not liked by fans of the original. So many other properties have rabid fans who critise the greatly modified "sequels" of their favourite works - be that book or film or tv.
John M. Ford's old novels made good mileage on the well-known shortcomings of TOS, and one of his creative interpretations was that Klingons had much better transporters than humans. Why, the Klingon unit made no sound in "Day of the Dove"! With the superior transporters, Klingons just didn't see much need to drag out the clumsy old shuttles, and expressed disbelief and distrust at the human willingness to use those. Onscreen Trek hasn't exactly contradicted the idea. We see precious few Klingon shuttles or planetfalls by Klingon spacecraft, and their ENT transporters appear to be routine gear while Archer is making the first experiments at transporting live people in field conditions. That said, no, no Klingon shuttles in TOS or in TAS, but nothing to contradict their existence, either. It's not as if we'd have seen human/Fed shuttles all that often, either. Until TAS, that is.
