I have loved the Jago & Litefoot audio adventures, and am sad to see them come to an end (especially since the last recorded boxset concluded with a cliffhanger). But I'm grateful for having had many hours of wonderful entertainment at the hands (or vocal cords) of Trevor Baxter.

perhaps they could finish it off in Companion Chronicles style - perhaps with Jago and Leela.

nah - for Litefoot's last hurrah it should be those who worked with him and other than one story with Strax I don't think there's been any cross-real cross over with the Paternoster gang so they'd sorta be interlopers.

Damn. I love the Jago & Litefoot series, and even though I'm way behind, this is a terrible lost for the Big Finish family. Rest in peace, Trevor. :(

Looking at my records, the last box set I bought is series 8, although I did get (and loved!) Jago & Litefoot & Strax. At least I'll have plenty of new stories to listen to yet.

It would be fitting to bookend the series in a Companion Chronicles like format, since that's how it began with The Mahogany Murderers.

I'd also settle for Big Finish releasing the scripts they had in mind for boxset 14, but that's a long shot, I know. It's possible they hadn't even finished scripting them yet.

I'd definitely be up for that, with Lisa Bowerman and Conrad Asquith in the supporting roles.

Sad news, I watched The Talons of Weng-Chiang only a week or so ago.

Just as long as they're not tempted to continue it in some way; say with David Warner's character.

I'd be surprised if Big Finish even think about it except perhaps as a one off wrap up/tribute.

For once I'm happy to be behind in my Big Finish releases as it meant I could listen to The Jago & Litefoot Revival this morning on the way to work.

Very sad to lose him - he was a wonderful actor with a perfect voice for audio and a big loss to Big Finish as it was probably their most consistently high quality series.

Thankfully it looks like the team will be getting back together for one final adventure: Jago & Litefoot Forever.

The late Trevor’s involvement will be through (presumably limited) use of archival audio. But I’m glad the Jago & Litefoot story will receive a proper ending. Plus, they’re throwing in the two previously download only J&L short trips!

With cameos from series semi-regular guests including Colin Baker and Louise Jameson.

Even better than I hoped for. I guess this means I need to start catching up on the series.

The "searching for the dead star" device really does remind me of Trail of the Pink Panther an awful lot. But, I don't care. I just love that the series will have closure, although the Jago & Litefoot Revival is pretty much it for me already. Still, I do hope their storylines will conclude with that last episode.

Sad news. Abso-smeggin-lutely one of my most favorite audio series of all time from Big Finish. Very sad news. Well, I'll be watching the Talons Weing Chang, and drinking a pint for ya mate in toast to a fine lived and worthy life of entertaining and making people feel good, and laugh, and gasp. You will be missed.

Another thought that comes to mind, but... wouldn't it have been nicer if it had been Tom Baker, instead of Colin Baker, who was the returning Doctor? To bring things full circle, anyway.

Perhaps, but it also makes sense to have The Sixth Doctor since he became more connected with them and they actually traveled with The Sixth Doctor for a couple of adventures.

Maybe it should've had David Tennant. :p
