Things in media glow blue because the color is associated in people's minds with higher energy output than, say, red.

That's the reason that the Enterprise has blue nacelle caps now.

Practical LEDs can be made to glow in any color desired for an effect, so that explanation is a non-starter.

That's what I thought as well. It was the hair for me.

At least I think it kind of looked like the hair of Ronnie/Martin Firestorm when they were confused and out of order. My mind has completely erased Ronnie from existence and replaced him with Jefferson at this point, so I would have never thought of him even though Caitlin is involved. But the moment I saw his back I thought ‘Oh, it's Ronnie!’, and Caitlin/Killer Frost's reaction confirmed it for me.

God, I hate mysteries. Not as much as musicals – I wouldn't smash planets over them – but I still do. Especially when you know in advance the reveal would be a 3 nanosecond wonder.

What's the hell is wrong with Barry Allen? He can't avoid acting like a jerk and failing all the people who love him without running to the future to get a historical lesson of his own jerkiness? When he was making his promise to Iris, it felt almost unnecessary, as it went without saying or promising, and a few minutes later we are in the emotional wasteland of anguish where he left Joe. The graveyard scene was very heavy and bleak, and he – any version of him – should have never let it come down to that if we are to take him as the hero. I understand giving up superheroing, but completely abandoning Joe? At this point, I would totally believe it if Savitar turns out to be a Barry Allen.

And after that entire journey to the future, he even didn't think it was necessary to recall what Killer Frost told him on why she joined Savitar. I mean, it was probably bullshit and a bad idea to listen to it, but when it's the only thing she told you during your whole conversation, it bears mentioning when you're explicitly asked. Killer Frost or not, she's still Caitlin, so what she says has to have enough importance for him to be worth repeating, but nope. Well, at least he looked pretty with that haircut for once.

If he needs future-tutoring to treat Joe right, right after his father died, I think the only way out for him is for the Legends to show up, erase Savitar as a time aberration, and let Sarah give little Barrie some discipline for wrecking the timeline. The only reason he is allowed to deal with this himself is that she is busy dealing with out-of-time dinosaurs, although a dinosaur eating Savitar would still be more believable than Barry Allen coming up with a plan. I mean, he doesn't even try to think of plans – he loves to rush into things, apparently. If Savitar's exoskeleton is strong enough, he may be able to purchase “I was eaten alive at Jurassic Park!” in the T-Rex stomach before he dies.

I'm thinking Savitar is a Wells.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
That'd mean that on an alt earth, Thawne showed up, tried to kill Wells, failed, and then got locked in a cage, and vivisected until Wells figured out how to imitate The Reverse Flash's powers with science.

No, Savitar is really......Joe!!! He got sick of Barry ruining his kid's lives, so he decides to put them out of their misery while punishing Barry at the same time! Parental tough love to the extreme! :D

At this point, Savitar would have to be freakin' Grant Ward to make the reveal worth the aggravation and wait.

At least with Zoom, it had the "real Jay Garrick" twist that saved the entire season by giving fans the casting and roles that they wanted from day 1....

I think Savitar is the Star Labs custodian.

    I wondered the same thing.

Also, address how flashpoint made it possible. Iris was still alive in 2024 before Flashpoint.

And I'm not convinced it's Ronnie.

Was it me or was the older (2024) Barry several inches taller?

In the final fight scene, he was. That's probably attributed to heels in the suit I think.
