I thought it might be Day of Honor, but it wasn't. I'm not sure.

Looking at the famed Ex Astris Scientia, it seems Paris also "served on the USS Exeter" before being "forced to resign" his commission

It wasn't mentioned on screen though

About B'elanna? We know she dropped out.

That Paris served on the Exeter was in Non Sequitur. That he was forced to resign is from Caretaker.

Hmmm i wonder if Non Sequitur counts as canon since that was kind of an alternate reality

The only thing that changes in Non Sequitur is Kim. Paris is still approached by Janeway at a penal colony and agrees to help her, but he doesn't run into Kim at Quark's, and instead gets into a fight. He's thrown into a holding cell, and misses Voyager's flight.

You know, sometimes voyager confuses the hell out of me. Take Living Witness, the doctor is on some world, 700 years later, still in the delta quadrent, which means voyager never got home, yet in endgame, the doctor is on voyager when they get home.

It was the "EMH Backup module" in living witness.

It was a backup copy of him.

Oh, ok then. I was confused because he knew everything the doctor did. They must save his program often.

Voyager's crew is an interesting mix of 3 crews. Maqui, voyager, and equinox. In the early eps, it's interesting to see them adjust.

Yes I know, I meant it was interesting to watch the voyager and Maqui crews integrate with each other.

Integrate with each other (Starfleet/Maquis)?! We just see Janeway asking to Chakotay to join him and "promoting" him, in less than 5 seconds, as her new XO and later, this same Chakotay trying to force Janeway to promote Torres as her new Chief Engineer (what Janeway did but not because it was a personal request of Chakotay, but because, B'Elena was a good candidate according to her judgment!), what met a little resistance from some Starfleet officers but even this point was adressed in a few seconds at the very end of the episode.

It was a choice deliberate choice on the part of Berman, who was conviced that viewers would not be interested to attend quarrels between Starfleet officers & Maquis rebels.... .How wrong was this idea! It would been interesting to see the ennemies becoming allies by reason then friends by choice.

There are a few interesting eps where you see the integration is not going to plan.

Oh yes, you refer to the episode, "Learning Curve" (the last episode of season 1, besides), when Tuvok was in charge of several raw crewmen, mainly from Maquis, who had trouble adjusting, right?!

Dalby & Chell would have deserved to be more present in following seasons but well, they were luckier than Alaya, who was often seen but kept silent
    most of the time!

That was one ep. The other's were the hologram ep, and the ep where the maqui retake the ship.

Yes, they did deserve more time in the eps, however, I've noticed that most Star Trek series tend to focus on the bridge crews and doctors, and the rest of the crews are just kind of there, but not really noticed.

One thing I never understood, was why they didn't use the nano probs to revive Lt. Carey, like they did Nelix.
