...anyone know where I can find a set of dimensions for it?

Thinking TOS Constitution, though my favorite is the Ent-D.

A little more useful response: Look at the second topic on this forum.

I find it difficult to see how my response, containing two links, wasn't useful...

Yeah, I've been to that site before, but I don't know which set of blueprints, if any, is accurate to the production model. I'm wondering if there's an official set of dimensions (the more detailed the better) for it that longtime fans know of.

EDIT: or if there's a good resource of info on the CG rendering of the Defiant used for ENT? I'm wondering if the exact curved shape of the neck for example will be difficult to get right, as general l/w/h dimensions don't really help there and orthos of the top/front/sides aren't illuminating either.

You are correct sir. Link and text blended almost perfectly, till I went back and stared at them.

    Apologies, BorgMan, no insult intended.

Search for plans made by Alan Sinclair and/or Charles Casimiro. They are considered the most accurate plans for the TOS E that are available to the public.

Now, one of the things that might be done--if you are thinking of using this to make a physical model--might be to try to break things up a different way for assembly.

Typically, folks make nacelles, support struts, the secondary hull--all different parts--and you have problems with toe-in or toe out. To do something that might be noticed by toy makers think about this. Get a side view of the Enterprise--TOS--on paper. Now cut away everything just forward of where the nacelle struts join the secondary hull--and just behind.

Do the same for the nacelles, Cut away the nacelles just forward the join of the nacelle strut--and just behind.

You now--if you could see The A-A to B-B slice--have a triangular bracket--that means the joins are now part of the model detail--and not something to be glued or puttied.
