You can't have a TNG set without Ten Forward, one of the best parts of the ship. I always thought sick bay was a mess, I've never had a sense of the layout during the show.
I grew up in an age where Science Fiction meant that the human race got their butts kicked (except for Buck). We took our rocket ships to another planet and got our butts kicked, Aliens would come to Earth and kick our butts. Even if we escaped a good butt kicking there was always that long V.O. of some alien telling us about how horrible mankind was and if we didn't change our ways, they would come to give us a good butt kicking. Then came Lost in Space, right off the bat they got lost and then had their butts kicked. This was followed by James T. Kirk who took his ship out into space and kicked all those aliens butts. Come to think about it, just be the Shat-Man. You'll never heard him apologizing for the awesome human race that we are.
