I do occasionally skip through things that are long-winded and unintelligible (for me, that is - I'm sure they're well written, but I don't understand the techno talk all the time.)

That said, back to the topic at hand.

After kicking the bucket, he unkicked it himself, through sheer force of will.

How does one "unkick" a bucket? Isn't that like unringing a bell? Yes... fortunately Leslie can do that too.

Leslie is the mid-twenty-third century version of Robau. Or more appropriately, since TOS came first, Robau is the early-twenty-third century version of Leslie!

Back on topic...has there ever been a book written entirely in the format of a series of logs?

I mean a book that consists entirely of a character's personal and positional log entries.

I think the first SCE duology that David Mack wrote (Invincible, I think) consisted mostly of logs and smiliar stuff.

I think one of the original "Captain Sulu" audiobooks was like this, but it's been a long time since I've heard it, so I may be remembering incorrectly.

^ Transformations is the only "Captain Sulu" audiobook I've listened to and it is basically a collection of log entries from Sulu and a few original characters.
