Just finished AOTF and I think it is great!
I've not found topics with voting poll, so I write here. This book it's not without fault, for example the myriad new characters and the loose plot. But it's also a very different approach from every other ST books and series, and KRAD is a excellent writer. I hope there are others political-only books in TreLit because it's nice getting other view of the Federation.

I like Articles of the Federation I bought a used copy of it a few years ago and read it. I thought it was a really interesting book.

Michael Jan Friedman was pretty good with the Klingons. I know that it's been years since I read it, but last year during the Prey trilogy I was pretty sure that there were numerous references to Friedman's Kahless from the late-90's, especially in regard to Kahless' backstory on his retirement.
