That tribal was pretty unreal.....I'm left wondering if it would have been even better if they weren't allowed to huddle up like they did?

Was really hoping for the Sandra double cross by JT and Malcolm, instead Malcolm gets the shaft, poor bastard....JT had better hope they don't lose another immunity challenge until the merge because his ass will be gone.

Sandra is pretty amazing in a way - she sucks at challenges, she's a total bitch, plays a terrible social game by reminding everyone she's the queen whenever she can, doesn't seem like she helps out too much around camp...yet still manages to stick around.

Not sure JT's strategy here. Making next tribal easy for his team.

    Yeah, Malcolm.

I am so pissed off at Tai.

Why Tai? It seems like JT is the one who screwed over Malcolm. Tai had no choice but to play the idol because they were outnumbered 6-5.

I find JT pretty annoying this season, acting morally superior to everyone.

Now that I think about it more, I think JT did what he did because he assumed the target would be Sandra.

Anyone else confused why Amazing Race is doing a stranger season in what could very well be its last season? At least half of the appeal of Amazing Race is the chemistry the teams have with each other and they're racing people together who have no chemistry because they never met.

I wonder if they called Parvati for this season and she said no. If anyone should be called a 'Game changer', it would be her. And obviously already appearing three times didn't stop them from casting anyone.

I was sad to see Ciera go, I always like her, and now sad to see Malcolm go as well. On the one hand it made sense for them to target the other tribe's strongest member to make sure they win challenges, but on the other hand it seems silly not to take a swipe at Sandra if possible. JT basically screwed over Malcolm without realizing he was doing so, and in the process has created distrust with his new tribe and doesn't seem to be on the same page as his old tribe. It's a shame because Malcolm, being the only one sort of on JT's side, could have been an asset to the other tribe whenever they meet up again.

With them already having changed tribes so quickly into the game, if I were them I would not be making assumptions about sticking with my current tribe for very long. They may have voted Malcolm out now thinking that it would help them win challenges, but tomorrow there could be another tribe swap and Malcolm may have benefited them. With this season being unpredictable, I would always be in favor of going after the biggest strategic threats whenever possible. It really should have been Sandra going.

I was not sad to see Tony go, but I'm definitely not on Sandra's side. I have never liked her or understood how she gets to the end. I have no desire to see her win again, so someone better take her out soon.

JT should realize he's bad at being tricksy. He won the first time just by surfing majorities. He'd probably still be good at doing that. He's tried to be tricksy twice. The first time he gave an immunity idol to Russell Hantz. Operant conditioning has to kick in sometime with him.

I'm in the midst of moving, and won't have TV access until Thursday afternoon. Canadians aren't allowed to watch cbs.com, so I will probably not be able to see this week's episode.

Are VCRs still a thing in Canada? Long before TV shows were all streamed the next day on the website I would have my VCR programmed to all my favorite shows. I guess they don't play well with HD digital cable.

I have a VCR. They're useless with no TV service.

The technician's window is 9-11 am tomorrow morning. That means I've got to have everything ready for him tonight, or I'll have to get up insanely early to tote everything downstairs.

But it may be that I have found a Canadian website I can access it on. I had a miserable time with the website last night, but was able to test it out on last week's episode.

I mean, nobody you know can tape it for you?

Loved the way Sandra played on JT's ego to stop him from playing his idol. Don't know what's going on with Debbie. "I made it down first!" It's a team comp, what are you six? She says she can balance, is put on the balance obstacle, fails, then complains she was not listened to?

Debbie is a certified nutjob, but also the kind of person you'd want with you when you're facing the jury because she'd completely melt down.

Man, that's the worst, going home with an idol in your pocket. Given what he did at the last tribal and how his tribe felt about that he should have played it despite the buttering up from Sandra.

Michaela is basically my hero after pouring herself a drink while the votes were being read out.

No, there is nobody who could have taped it for me.

The website worked once for me. It won't work again. An email to their customer service department has so far gone unanswered.

I might as well get spoilered, since it's unlikely I'll be able to see this episode.

    What did Debbie do/say?
Did anyone find/play/not play an idol?
    Who was voted out?

JT found an idol and was voted out.

The reward challenge gave them a bunch of coffee and sugar. JT was commenting on the amount of sugar Michaela used, so then Sandra finished off the sugar so JT would blame Michaela. Sandra used that to make JT comfortable that Michaela would be voted out, and instead voted out JT.

Debbie feels like Culpepper hasn't been listening to her and respect her so she's been going off the rails at camp. At the reward challenge there was a balance aspect. Debbie said she was good at balance but then couldn't get through the balance part, then after she felt Culpepper hadn't listened to her when discussing the challenge. At the immunity challenge Debbie was racing her own team members and laughing when another team member was struggling.

Tai found a clue to an idol.

Debbie basically went nuts. She apparently has a different version of reality than the rest of her tribe and what we saw on camera. As mentioned by other posters at the reward challenge she claimed she was great at balance and wanted to do that portion, then in the challenge she was a complete fail on the balance beam. Hali also did the balance beam and finished faster than Debbie.

However, by the time they got back to camp, Debbie had somehow convinced herself that she flew over the balance beam in seconds while Hali "dicked around for 10 minutes" on the beam, losing them the challenge. She was angry at Brad because apparently he was a dictator who just told everyone what role they would have (cue a flashback scene to Debbie saying before the challenge that she was good at balance and wanted to do it).

At the immunity challenge she was mad when Hali was chosen to do a balance portion and scoffed when she fell off the beam. They all had to leap over a wall and afterward she turned to Brad (in the middle of the challenge) and said "I got over first, did you see, I was over FIRST." As they watched others do the balance portion she continued to make comments like "whatever, let's not have the former gymnast do it, let's pick Hali instead."

JT wasn't my favorite but I was sorry to see him go, because he seemed to be the only one on that tribe willing to go against Sandra. In the preview for next week it looks like there's a possible tribe swap, so hopefully we can break up that awful Sandra-Jeff-Michaela alliance and get Sandra out of there. She's my least favorite, could you tell? I can't stand arrogant players.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I'm not even slightly fond of Sandra. As mentioned on the show, she's never lost, so she needs to be taken down a bunch of pegs.

I like Sandra. I don't mind arrogance but I can't stand moral sanctimony. Players who act morally superior are the ones I like seeing gone the quickest. That's JT, not Sandra.

So according to the previews a former Survivor player is coming back?

Wasn't clear if it was someone who's already been voted out this season or an entirely new contestant for this season....interesting.
