Interesting...Scott Bell just put the AliensPredatorVerse in the same space as the TrekVerse. Anyone see it?
Check out the cargo containers in the DY-series schematics. One of them has a Weyland-Yutani corporate logo emblazoned on it.
Certainly not the first fan project to include Weyland-Yutani. But for some reason, I had thought W-Y had been included in actual filmed Trek somewhere, like as part of a barely-seen Okudagram or something. Or am I misremembering?
Huh...don't remember that one, but it wouldn't surprise me. Okudagrams were always full of those little easter eggs. IIRC, when the V'Ger/Ilia probe was scanning the refit's computers in TMP, some of the schematics being shown were from the Battlestar Galactica blueprint set. I could have sworn I saw a Viper in there.
Yoyodyne was in there somewhere. Cavradyne was 2001. In terms of ship design--here is an interview with Guy Hendrix Dyas who designed the ship from the ship from PASSENGERS http://www.space.com/34909-passengers-movie-starship-design-qanda.html He also did a basestar http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KbHUiNt0y...K8v32e1W-4/s1600/Concept_DeSanto_Basestar.jpg http://jupiterstoryphilippens.blogspot.com/2014/08/see-amazing-concept-art-for-unmade.html https://thepopculturestudio.com/2016/07/03/five-minutes-with-guy-hendrix-dyas-part-1/ http://performingarts.about.com/od/Costumes/ig/The-Designs-of-Guy-Hendrix-Dyas/index.htm Shades of Nilo Rodis-Jamero--and Atolm http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/spaceships/35849/15-of-sci-fi-cinemas-most-eccentric-spaceships

I was looking at the Sovereign class deck plans over on Cygnus, and most are not clickable, so there's only a 400x225 preview. Did anyone happen to get a copy? I'm working on a play-by-forum RPG and it would be incredibly helpful to have a full-size copy of those deck plans. I have the other classes, and reference them regularly for my Steamrunner-class and Intrepid-class ships that I use.

Thank you for clarifying those points! I had thought that was the case. And had I known more as a teen, I certainly would have haggled the dealers down to more reasonable prices! And I am now aware a couple of my favorites, the Joshua-class Command Cruiser and the Caracal, are Fanon, not licensed works, which would be what, 'soft canon'? How are licensed works rated with regard to Canon? And John, thank you for maintaining and updating the site! I consider it a great resource! And yes, i'd like to support the artists when I get the chance! Especially since I have as yet to get the full-size optimal-quality hardcopies/originals! I tried through ebay but I always got outbid, lol... And working off of the shoddy 8x11" printouts I made from the files, has enhanced the Trek-centric campaign I was running off and on for about a decade!
An amazing resource for vintage sci-fi spaceships. Not only retro pulp/movie/TV rocketships and flying saucers but also classic real-world spacecraft and space station designs by the likes of Tsiolkovsky, Oberth, Sänger, Bonestell, von Braun, etc. http://www.rogersrocketships.com/dockingbays.cfm
A quick, yet exciting update. I've uploaded new, high-resolution color scans of the famed 'The Next Generation Blueprints U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D' collection. You can check them out in all of their glory via this link: http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/star-trek-the-next-generation-enterprise.php Enjoy-
