I always thought he needed more comedy on the show. They almost always hit up Spiner for the funny stuff (With good reason) I actually like Frakes better in light moments

There is already a thread about the documentary and people who have taken the time to read through that would have already seen the video in question.

Ha! Nice piece. I always liked Frakes.

This was a thread created in the TNG forum and moved here, so I'll just merge it with the ongoing thread.

Did we lose some posts when the admins merged several topics?

We shouldn't have, but they should show up chronologically so maybe that's why you can't find them easily.

So, I bought Bragging rights, the Quark shirt, and the signed DVD set

The dinner with Vic Fontaine looks cool as hell, but a bit pricey and not sure I can make it out there then anyway

I hope now that they've reached their goal to afford an orchestral score, they'll get a D.S.9. composer, preferably Dennis McCarthy. That would be sweet.

Is anyone else getting an "Invalid Page" error message when trying to bring up the indiegogo page for the campaign?

Apparently even more rewards are going to be announced tomorrow with only eight more days to go and $22,000 from their next stretch goal.

Wow, they're up to $413,579 now!

I'm genuinely excited about the documentary, the things that could happen as a result, and the people who are taking real steps to actually try to get us something in HD. I appreciate that.

    And...

    ...that's beautiful!

As has been stated before, though that clip was shared by the makers of the documentary, it's a fan-made work, so it's unknown how close that would be to the work of an actual remastering or recreating of the clips. I'm sure they've probably given that artist Doug Drexler's contact information, as well as the people responsible for the fan-made DS9 on blu ray season trailers.

Regardless of who made it, it's a beautiful clip. I have seen the same people post other HD Trek clips they created. They do great work. This one is fairly new. And the documentary people shared it, and they're clearly hoping to have some HD content of the series. If these are the people they end up working with, all the better!

    • Think you can talk ‘trek’ with the best of them? Then grab this limited ENGAGE PODCAST PACK, which includes a special invite to guest on Jordan Hoffman’s ENGAGE: Official Star Trek™ Podcast, collectable Command Series Sisko Figure signed by Ira, and one of Terry Farrell’s Season 4 crew hats with a personal card. I hope they don't use that Clip in the final product. The Defiant looks smaller.
